Owned since 2017
I have had these containers since 2017 and they are holding up great. The variety of sizes is convenient and easy to find a size that works, and the lids fit tightly. To long in the microwave the containers seems to get a little soft which in my opinion is expected.

Great Quality
My Mom loves these plates for everyday eating even better than regular plates we have here. I meal prep with these, and just microwave for quick dinners. She also loves them for her cereal and fruit for breakfast or brunch. She's 91½ and although they close and seal well, they are easy for her to open and close herself and to put back in fridge for another meal.

Could have done better
These are great containers, for the variety and number of containers in this set but I could’ve gotten the same things at the dollar store. They stain easily. They are only microwave safe to a certain degree. I’ll still use them but I will buy them at the dollar store in the specific size and shape and quantity I need, as I need them.

These are awesome in every way!
These Rubbermaid TakeAlongs are great for school lunches or taking to work. They are perfectly sized, and the best part is that they are leak proof.I use them all the time for my husbands lunch. I can fit three pieces of Pizza Hut pizza's in one of these TakeAlong bowls.I have used them to store our leftovers in the refrigerator and the freezer. In the refrigerator, I have stood them on their side to make more room, and they have never leaked. I have stored fruits and veggies and leftovers in the freezer and it never got freezer burned. My son likes omelets and he likes to pre-chop the onions and peppers, which makes the refrigerator smell very badly. So, now he puts them in a Rubbermaid TakeAlong and I can't smell them at all.I also use them to fill with candy at Christmastime to give as a gift. I just add a little ribbon and a bowl on top. It keeps the candy fresh and then when the bowl is empty, they have a new bowl. These Rubbermaid TakeAlongs are less expensive and better quality than some of the other bowls that claim they are of high quality. My only problem is that they stain easily if I put soup or chili in them. I have found a solution to the problem, though. I mix a 1/2 cup of white vinegar, 1/2 cup of original Dawn and four tablespoons of baking soda. Then I rub it all over the bowl and let it sit for at least 30 minutes. Then I scrub it again and rinse it. This brings most, if not all, of the stain out.I would recommend buying these Rubbermaid TakeAlongs to anyone.

Tubs stay stacked in the refrigerator!
The lids, which snap on with one hand, have a ridge around the edge which keeps them stacked in the refrigerator. This avoids the endless aggravation of tubs tumbling about in the refrigerator. The edges are all rounded for easy cleaning. Just don't drop them when they are full or cold because of course they will break.

Smaller Than Expected
The quality of the container was as expected. It is difficult to perceive the actual size when it is listed as 3.7 cups. I bought another set that is 5 cups. These are more to my liking.

Great containers for a good price.
I have used the single compartment version of this product for a few years now.I almost a ruined a couple of these due to microwave settings. But the ones I almost ruined only had a spot here and there that melted slightly. The problem was not with product itself, it was my heating method. If you want to load up a pork chop, hamburger, meats with sauce, and/or oil. Check your microwave's settings. Most microwaves have a setting for "reheating" or a "dinner plate" do not simply punch in a time and let it go.It's a little more work, but the reheat or dinner plate setting will allow your food to get nice and toasty without killing your plastic.I use a 3 minute setting (which appears to be the standard setting for this "dinner plate" or "reheat") and most of the time (with the exceptions of unchopped meat, or meat covered in gravy) my food is hot.If your microwave does not have this function I would suggest your heat your food at 1 to 2 minute intervals and stir. This should also help to prevent the product from melting. Now this being said I haven't had a chance to test this yet, but I wanted a separated compartment for certain meals I pack. I'm sure these will perform to the standard quality of the single compartment. If anything changes I will update this.

Reviewed wrong storage containers
My previous review was incorrect - I mistook the review request for a product I had to send back. They look solid and are keepers.

Good for lunch
It’s good size and holding up well to use after several months. Wish the plastic was a bit thicker.

Great containers for lunch
I have had this type of container previously and have struggled to find them as they needed replaced. I think they are a great size for lunches. Easy to wash. Still retains shape/strength once heated in the microwave even though the plastic is not rigid. My last set lasted over 10 years, I'm hoping these new ones have such a long life.

Leak proof but a bit difficult.
These are definitely leak proof, and seem as durable as other rubbermaid food containers. The major downside is that they're a bit difficult and finicky. The lids are a bit difficult to put on properly, and my kids (5&7) have trouble taking the lids off on their own.
