BEWARE: Mat is NOT Anti-Static!
This "Ceatech Solering Mat" is NOT anti-static! They claim it is in the product description/features but they are WRONG. The second I took this thing out of the bag, it was already conducting static electricity. It made the hairs on my head stick up. Immediately returning this item for false advertisement. You cannot deal with electronics on a mat like this. DO NOT BUY if you care about your electronics, it is easier than you’d imagine to shock and ruin exposed PCBs/electronics.Direct quote taken from this products features/description (you can also scroll up and see for yourself):“Features:High temperature resistance, insulator, anti-static, anti-corrosion,anti-chemical flux,wear-resisting, sturdy and durable, easy to clean.”Notice how it says “anti-static”? That’s false. Returning this mat.

Its a mat thats slightly better than nothing but thats all it has going for ...
This is a very thin cheap feeling mat. It doesn't have the quality feel of other mats I own. I also highly question its temp resistance as I have melted spots on it at that would have been WAY under 986. Its a mat thats slightly better than nothing but thats all it has going for it.

Soldering Mat - nice for work on small pieces
A useful mat to solder and work on small pieces. Flexible and not flimsy but picks up sawdust and powders such as polishing powder that stick and need to be cleaned off. I may get another one to handle two levels. It's costly and so will wait and consider other options.

Haven't had time to use it. It is really flexible and I like the size. Should be great when I am working on miniatures.

good for the price
very good mat, just wish it didnt stick onto dust/solder balls so easy, and also wish it had a grounding cable/ESD material but for the price can't get better
