My husband and I had two Australian shepherds, and we wanted a third, but we didn't know how we could walk all three at once. They are strong and the two got tangled when we each had one on walks, and we couldn't imagine walking three with just the two of us. We were really hesitant to add a third dog to our lives because of how it could change our ability to take our dogs places, but when I found this splitter, and it completely changed the game. When it says "tangle free" it really means it! Today we took our three dogs on a 5k, with two of them on the splitter, and there were no issues the whole time! The bungee quality is great, too, because it lets the dog know when they're getting too far without a sharp pull that would tug you and the other dog as well. The bungee is pretty strong, too -- I was worried it would be too loose and not make a difference, but our dogs are strong and they definitely feel it when they get too far away from each other. I would highly recommend this splitter!

This thing is amazing! I was extremely skeptical as to how it would work with 2 high energy dogs - especially since we usually walk with at least 1 other dog in the neighborhood. I had visions of tangled leashes, out of control dogs, and overall chaos. Never. Not once have I experienced any of those things. The leash is designed to give each dog a vast amount of freedom of movement by stretching, while still maintain them as part of the "pack". Sometimes, I wonder if they even realize they are attached to one another. Tangling is not a problem because of the way the leash spins at its pinnacle. At the same time, I never feel my control over 2 dogs is the least bit shaky or unsure. By choking up on their leash, a bit I can keep all of us in a tight group if we encounter traffic or other people or animals. I thought our dogs would have an adjustment period to get used to this new way of doing things. I was surprised how easily they took to it the very first time we put it on them. This product probably would not work very well on very small dogs. Ours are 23 and 18 lbs. However, as the construction is heavy-duty and very durable, it is sturdy enough to take larger dogs for sure. There is not one thing I would change about this product. Bravo!

I guess I didn't read the description enough because I have two smaller dogs I have a 15 lb Chihuahua and a 2 lb Chihuahua and I needed something so that they didn't tangle each other up this is really heavy duty it's meant for big dogs which I have absolutely no problem with if you have a medium to large dog this is exactly what you're looking for. It would have worked better for my dogs had I had them on harnesses and not collars because whoever was walking in front the weight of the lead would like drag his head down so it was just poor judgment on my part that it didn't work for us but yeah for big dogs it is perfect and for the price you can't beat it I ended up giving it to my neighbor and she has a shepherd and a Pitbull and it works excellent for them even when they're on a collar or when they have on a harness it works great with both scenarios

Had I thought of this years ago…. Besides being a time saver it is built well for the two large dogs I have. One at 70 lbs and the other at 60 lbs. Makes them work in tandem on the walk with one bringing the other along when the stopping and sniffing occurs. I think the hardware clips from the splitters to the harness or collar could be a bit beefier, but they work fine. There’s enough length in the two sides to allow for the dogs to turn, cross over, and generally walk as if on one lead. Elasticity of the leads is negligible for my too sled dogs (in their minds), but we’ll see how it holds up over time. Would serve well for small dogs on the resistance level.

Finally! a 2-dog leash that doesn't tangle around my legs and trip me up. I've used longer double leads, but no matter how I position the dogs, one ends up on each side of me with the leash split behind my calves. It felt like we were going in 3 directions. This length is perfect. The bungee has held up well and it lessens the pull not just on me, but between the dogs too. I take my dogs lots of places, so I like that I can attach the best leash length (long or traffic) for where we are. Some all-in-one double leashes are so heavy! Well made, but expensive and heavy to carry when we're off leash on trails. This one is so all-round easy. Very pleased with purchase.

Walking two dogs used to feel like a rodeo. This leash changed that. The 360° swivel truly prevents tangling—even when one of my pups decides to suddenly switch sides. The bungee design adds just enough give to avoid jarring pulls. Strong clips, great length, and shock-absorbing. Bonus: I can drink my coffee with one hand while walking both dogs now.

This coupler does its job and lets you walk two dogs at the same time. It’s convenient to only need one leash. The dogs don’t get tangled since the connections have swivel rings, so the dogs always end up straight again if they do move apart or cross. Watch out though if one dog walks behind you and then moves to the opposite side- you could be taken out. You just have to be aware and be quick on your feet to move out of the way and move the dog back to where it needs to be. All of the connections seem strong and secure. It keeps the dogs at a perfect distance apart to where they aren’t crowded next to each other but are still close enough together to navigate narrower sidewalks. The main issue is that it doesn’t feel as strong of a hold as a normal leash. It has a bungee type of feel to it, so it feels like a looser grip. Also at times when I needed a quick, closer grip on the dogs, I found myself having to grab the leash connection ring itself to hold them and keep them at a safe distance. Even using a leash with a handle near the bottom doesn’t help that problem since the handle isn’t quite close enough when you need to have a firm grip on the dogs and keep them within a couple feet of you. For me the coupler will be perfect for walking two dogs that are easy to control in a quiet area that doesn’t have a lot of traffic. I won’t use it for walking with a dog combo that includes a stronger dog that has a tendency to pull since it doesn’t have a close enough, strong hold that you need for that type of dog.

I have two dogs and I’ve been using this for quite a while now running both of them up and down the trail on their walks and I love this thing. It has a swivel on it so they never get really tangled up. it’s very easy to use. very high-quality and I’ve never had a problem with the hardware.

Absolutely what I needed for my girls. Both are medium size and I couldn’t handle the leashes getting tangled whenever I walked them alone. This leash extension solves that. They correct each other and the swivel connection allows them to switch sides without entanglement. So glad I found this!

We recently brought our existing dog (Remi) litter mate brother home (Asher)! They are going to be 8 on April 1st of this year. I wasn't sure how i was going to go about walking them both at the same time (huskies are pullers!!!) The leash has bungee leads so there is no 'jarring' pulls. They can both kinda do their own thing without the other one pulling them along. There is also the swivel connection!! NO TANGLING!!!! This thing is a lifesaver! All 3 of us are now able to enjoy a stress free walk!!

Perfect for dog walking 2 dogs. One leash to worry about only, no tangling, crossovers etc. Inwould definitely recommend!

Love no twisting of leashes. The bungee lessens stress on the dog. I have two tiny dogs, so it’s a bit heavier than I need, but still works well. This would do for pretty large dogs.
