One sterdy structure

I Have Built Many Models, Even By Dumas. This Is The Flimiest Material I Have Worked With. If The Pieces To Build Could BeA Little More With Stability It Would Probably. I Am Returning This Pile Of You Know What! For A Refund. However, I Started To Build This AndThe Wood (1/16th Thick) Kept Breaking. This Has Been One Of The Worst Products I Have Ever Worked With. Do You Want Me ToReturn It Or Trash It?

Over all it was a great model that flies well. I would recommend trying a Guillows authentic scale first. If you haven't made a model like this before then I would suggest looking into this and understanding the process and what you'd need. It takes a few months(took me 5). The instructions weren't the clearest but I would recommend it. Over all it's a great model that glides well,

The Hawk was a great model to build. Dumas sure knows how to make great ones. My brother in law was so impressed, I was talked into letting him have it to hang in his cabin. Went online and got pictures and facts about the aircraft to give with the model.

Wood poor quality.

I got a few of these as gift..I ended up building a moth and this one myselfI quit doing planes years ago after being beating in the face by a 60 Gulf back in the late 80s at a Chico fly in..These rubbers are fun

Although the laser cutting was good, the balsa wood itself was too soft and apparently poor quality. Luckily I had extra balsa strips left over from previous models that I had built (NOT Dumas products) and could use them in place of the unsatisfactory ones. I will not buy a Dumas airplane again.

This is a really cool model,fun to build & looks great when finished !
