Rubbermaid Brilliance BPA-Free Food Storage Containers with Lids, Airtight, Kitchen and Pantry Organization Set, Includes 3 Containers and Scoops, Clear, 16 cups

This review is for the set of 3 large (12 cup) pantry storage containers. Anyone who likes Rubbermaid Brilliance containers would like this pantry set. Each is large enough to hold a 5 lb bag of flour or 5-6 lb of rice. The lids are easy to secure and the air tight seal is excellent. I find the lids on this shape and size are easy to remove even though on the flatter containers it can be difficult. One potential negative is that these do not nest - so if they are stored empty they take up the same space as full (they are shipped side by side). They look like they would nest but they get badly stuck so you might not be able to get them apart later. Even if they did come apart, half the height is all the farther it could go in. If you need 3 this is a good set, otherwise buy a single one or buy the pantry set with mixed sizes. First check if you already have sizes that stack. I have two other rectangle sizes (3.2 cup and 4.7 cup) that can stack on top of these and have matching lids.

Love these! Will come back to purchase other sizes too!

Silly me didn’t pay close attention to the listing, saw 6 piece, and thought I was getting 6 containers. Well, $45 is still decent for 3 containers + 3 scoops. The scoops have proven to be massively useful! I use the containers to store grains and keep weevils out. I do usually want a specific measurement of whatever grain I am using, and the scoops are 20x easier than a measuring cup.

Very nice and sturdy. Very fast shipping.

I needed a larger container to store rice and nuts. My husband loves to feed birds and the food attracts pantry pests, fly like things that birth worms that makes nests in the crevices of bags of rice and nuts. It’s gross
