Great product
Great product, arrived quickly and did the job. It came charged so ready to use straight away. Easy to assemble, adjust and use. I used it for three large bushes this weekend and it cut through what I needed it to with ease, I loved using it. I can feel it in my arms today so some may say it's a little heavy but it needs to be to do the job.

Great product at a great price
Hedge trimmer arrived on time, well packaged and was easy to assemble. Battery had charge in it but I topped it up which did not take too long. Clear instructions and product was easy to use. Charge appears to last very long and blades cut all but the very thickest of branches. Only issue I had with the product is that even with shoulder strap you start to feel its weight after 30mins or so of usage especially when using it in extended pole positions. I have used product 3 times so far this year and still loving it as saves me lots of money not having to pay some one to come do it and my muscles get a short work out as well!

Looks a good product...
Unfortunately, my order was apparently "lost in transit" by the carrier, Hermes although how you can lose a package that's 4ft long and 6" x 6" I have no idea. I contacted Von Haus through Amazon, who arranged a replacement to be delivered by independent courier and it arrived the next day so excellent customer service! As it hasn't stopped raining since receiving it so I haven't been able to use it in the garden but I have put it together in the house and it seems a very good product. The weight isn't too bad and balance, particularly with the supplied shoulder strap, seems good. The battery and charger are compact in size and the battery arrived in full charge state. The plastic blade guard is flimsy and isn't easy to put back on the blade but then I suppose this helps to keep the price down. Overall, pleased with my purchase but especially with the Von Haus customer service. UPDATE: Used the trimmer for the first time on the hedgerow at the bottom of my garden which is a mixture of conifer, pyracantha etc an about 8ft high. This is a good trimmer for domestic garden use but I wouldn’t recommend for commercial. Initially the trimmer didn’t seem as powerful as I thought it might be but it coped admirably. I found it easy to adjust the length and the shoulder strap enabled me to balance it. All these things have some weight to them especially when extended but this was one of the lighter ones I’ve tried. I’m 70 and 12st and after about half an hour I found my arms getting tired and starting to ache so I stopped. I had done as much as I had intended though and there were still 2 bars of battery left of the 3 I started with. Last year I got someone in to trim this hedge at a cost of £200 so as long as I keep my health I think this will prove a good buy! One minor negative: the nut came off the bolt that holds the shoulder strap and is lost in the hedgerow somewhere. I found a replacement in my box of bits but I probably should have checked it was tight before starting the job! Overall, pleased with my purchase.

Ideal for neighbour's nuisance overhanging hedges and trees.
Cordless is the way to go with a hedge trimmer. You can focus on the trimming not the cable. Reviewed a few, bought this one mainly due to the good price and good reviews. Works well and not overly heavy (they will all have a bit of weight). It extends without having to assemble/disassemble - ignore the handbook provided; it seems to be of an earlier version. I've only used it once, battery didn't need a recharge, so seems good. I would recommend for a small to medium garden.

AWKWARD TO USE POORLY DESIGNED CAUSES PAIN.
Edited ,having to rewrite this after using twice, much reduced rating,as I'm in too much pain from using this thing. It does the job for thin branches, extends high up but its very awkward and heavy to use even low down as all the weight from the motor is on the cutting end ,so unless you are very muscular ,built like a mountain gorilla I would not recommend it,you get what you pay for, definitely not for the ladies......I am retired and used to hard work. There is no instructions for the body strap but it wasn't much use anyway wasted time trying to adjust it. Some of the job is nearly done for now , doing it in stages, there is a lot to do, overgrown, I really wanted to do it all in one go.... forced to having a rest because of the pain. ! its reasonably made for the price , BUT POORLY designed, its grossly unbalanced, unwieldy, the battery is powerful enough and charges quickly, but only used twice so far, cordless is a bonus, its quiet enough but a lighter design with the motor at the trigger handle end would be much easier to use ,switches are not easy to reach and should be nearer the U handle...which is in the wrong place anyway. You can buy these machines with the motor near the bottom handle end but they are much more expensive, sometimes with a very noisy petrol driven motor.......I don't want to spend too much its just for occasional use once I have it all under control. depends on your needs and fitness.. Frankly I would like to return it but seeing the trouble other customers are having getting a refund I cant be bothered , I don't want anymore stress on top of the pain I'm in...so I will have to grin and bear it just do a very small amounts at a time OR I may just cut the bush trunks down with saw..then keep it all trimmed with my small trimmer. NOT RECOMMENED AT ALL......

Fair
Although the trimmer is easy to use and assemble and does an ok job the top handle is pretty useless, it’s a real design fault as if you pull on it slightly it pulls back towards you. I ended up not bothering with it. To be fair at under £100.00 compared to many others it’s an ok telescopic trimmer. Yes it’s top heavy but they all are. Oh the strap is useless too.

Great product and really well made
Really good product and having used it twice now it does exactly what it's supposed to. Battery life seems to be great and all round a very robust and well made product. Great for trimming but this isn't a saw and will not cut anything major branch wise. A word of warning, this trimmer is not a light weight product. I regard myself as an active and fit person but any longer than a 5 or 10 minute session especially if the trimmer is fully extended and you will feel it in your arms.

Excellent product.
Very pleased with it, battery lasts well, product is well designed and sturdy at a sensible price, a very good tool cuts well, shoulder strap is needed as is quite heavy and unwealdy if not used. Recomend it.
