Overall I am satisfied and they work well and are bright, but they did make me feel uneasy at times - Let me explain. First time i used them, i shocked myself, because i didnt read the instructions that said to first lay out the wire. Keep in mind that the LEDs are connected to bare copper wire, given the right circumstances you can get shocked, although only 5volts. Just a little jump. The LEDs are not all the same color white, I want to say that right now. They will not pass as the same color white, but they are all in the ball park. Also the wire is thin (what you'd expect from fairy lights anyway), so i feel i have to be fragile, although For my application, they work just find. I do love the fact that the USB allows it to be plugged into a battery pack or a standard wall adapter or computer.

I'm not using these lights outside or around water, so can'take speak to their "waterproof-ness." However, I love their bright sparkle and the wire is easily maneuvered to stuff inside of other decorations. I was looking for something that would actually plug in so I didn't have to worry about changing batteries and dimming lights as they weakened. Perfect for my needs!

Very bright for the size of the LEDs and great price. I used these for camping and, since they use very little power, they were perfect for keeping the campsite lit all night long. On a side note, the wire does get very hot to the touch when operating. Not a big deal but thought I'd mention it.
