So far, very impressed with the product
I have had low Vitamin D levels for probably my whole life, since I live in the Northeast and we don't nearly get enough sun. I have been getting regular blood tests for the past 2 years since being diagnosed with MS. My NP at my neurologist office has told me for all of those years that I really need to work on my Vitamin D with supplements. I have always been apprehensive to spend money on supplements because I was always under the impression that they just make your pee really expensive, and you'd do better getting vitamins from food. However, vitamin D is mostly absorbed from the sun and there are few other ways to get it.I decided to take this more seriously, since Vitamin D is so important for immune health and since it is now SO much more important for me. Since I also am trying to reduce my single-use plastic consumption, I was also looking for something that wasn't in a plastic bottle. This bottle is glass but does have a plastic sprayer. I did comment on the Mary Ruth's facebook page to see if these are entirely recyclable but only the glass portions are recyclable unfortunately. I guess any step is better than nothing. My bottle came perfectly intact, no leaking, no broken parts. When I saw that it was olive oil based, I was worried because I hate the taste of olive. I am impressed though, as this is truly tasteless. Hence my 5 star flavor rating, because it is entirely flavorless and that is perfect. I actually do my sprays after dinner, and I immediately follow it up with the cherry flavored Vitamin B from Mary Ruths. I actually look forward to taking these.I will update this in a few months when I have updated blood tests and see how this has changed my Vitamin D levels!

Only D that doesn’t flare my IC
Love this as it’s the only vitamin D that doesn’t flare my IC as it’s just D and olive oil. Also my son loves this too and only way he will take vitamins as he doesn’t like the gummy versions or flavored drops. Wish all vitamins could be in olive oil.

Convenient way to add D
I wanted a better way to absorb Vitamin D. I'm not outside as much as I need to be. Taking pills or chewable didn't seem to be doing the job. I tried the liquid after reading reviews of Mary Ruth's and knowing that liquid is better/faster absorbed. The pills have to be liquified by your stomach, so this jumps that step and it can't be destroyed by stomach acid. The tast isn't so great ( not horrible), but that is overcome by the sprayer attachment. You can easily spray it on the back of your tongue or into your throat where you don't really taste it. It will be absorbed from there too. The spayer also has a cap to keep it clean.Overall, I'm pleased with the liquid D and plan to keep using it.

Easy and I can feel it
I must’ve been deficient in vit D and this was a noticeable boost once I started. I trust this brand for myself and my children.

It is convenient for children and babies
I bought this for my 18 month old daughter. We used to have drops and it was very inconvenient, as the child did not want to wait so long for the drop to drip. I'm glad I bought it.

I use this topically for my psoriasis - only thing that clears it up!
UPDATE UPDATE: my hands were unspeakably bad all month and I forgot I had a spare bottle. IN TWO DAYS my hand cleared up. I used just the spray on my hands and ears as well, and 2 days no flakiness, incredible.UPDATE: I now only put it on in the morning or after a shower, with the Palmer's lotion and a little vaseline mixed together, and I saw 70% improvement in only 3 days.***Yes, I do not want to take any medications that clear me up but make me sick, go figure.. but I read that applying D topically to the psoriasis will harmlessly clear it up. Its a 60-70% improvement, but I have to put this brand and the fishy smelling a&D ointment on 3x a day, besides vaseline and Palmer's, which the last of smells lovely. Highly recommend Mary Ruth's for the psoriasis! - update - after I ran out of the Mary Ruths, the psoriasis came back completely. I realize this is the only thing that works! the other items only moisturize, but dont get rid of the scales!
