Awesome shoes!
These tap shoes are the best! They are very heavy duty and great quality. The sounds on these are beautiful! Very sharp and loud sounds. They do run a bit small. I normally wear a 7.5 to 8 in street shoes and I had to get a few sizes before finding a good fit. I ended up with a size 8.5 in this tap shoes and it fits snug (which I wanted). I can still wear a pair of thin socks with them. The toe area was a bit tight when I first got them but have stretched a little since then and are now comfortable. They come with the rubber soles unattached. I chose not to put them onto my shoes (because I didn’t know how and I didn’t want to pay more money to find someone to do it professionally). There is definitely more sliding without them but I’ve gotten used to it. I do feel like the balls of my feet get a bit more sore after dancing for a while probably because of this. Overall, I love these shoes! I’ve had them for about two years now and I still love them. I’m considering getting them in white too! If you get these shoes, you won’t regret it!

Tap size
Many people have written that the Bloch tap shoes run to small. I have been a professional dancer for 40 years. Leather stretches a lot!! I bought my regular shoe size 8 and they were tight but perfect. After 3 days and 6 hrs, they are already stretched. If you are going to be wearing them often get your shoe size. If not, maby .5 size up.The sound is awesome, the black leather is gorgeous, and it is easier for my students to hear because the tone is so loud and clear. Worth the money!

Very supportive, good investment if you plan on tapping.
I'm just a regular tap dancer, I don't do really fancy stuff due to spine issues, but I can actually do more in these. I had regular tap shoes before, the $60 ones with the full sole. I decided to get these after my son accidentally threw out my old ones (they were in a grocery bag after recital, boys, *sigh*). My dance teacher and more pro dancers at my studio wear these and he said, "you'll never have to buy another pair". So I decided, go for it, treat yourself, up your game. I'm super happy I did. I love that the front, where the laces are, goes up higher then a regular shoe. And it has more padding. These ones are heavier then normal shoes so it took a class or two of adjustment, but my taps are more crisp and louder. They seem to be more stable for toe stands (tho the larger toe box took a bit of adjustment too). Obviously I don't know how long they last but I'm really glad I spent a bit more. Of note, I got really confused by the size chart and tried two smaller sizes. It ended up being the same size as my regular full sole Bloch's. One size larger then running shoe size. Also, they did have to be broken in.

Nice loud tap sound and comfortable!
I usually wear between a 7 and 7.5 shoe. I was recommended by other people in my tap class to buy a size bigger. So I bought a size 8. Personally, it fits my feet pretty good. They do feel a bit big with a thin nylon sock. But wearing a heavier sock they feel good. I can control the motion of my feet and it's nice to have a little more stomping room for my toes. Wondering if I should have gotten a 7.5 instead? But I'll make this 8 size work for me. Love the nice loud tap sounds they make!

Great tap shoes
I bought these tap shoes for my 14 year old granddaughter. The shoes run about one size small. She wears a size 7 in a street shoe. She tried on her instructors size 9 and determined a size 8 should be right. They are perfect. They are a little heavier than other tap shoes. But this is good because the sound of her tapping has improved. She loves them. Her sister who has been dancing for 18 years has a pair and she loves them as well. She has used them for about 5 years and they are as good as new. You will not be disappointed.

Love these shoes
Love these shoes!! Did a lot of research before buying these. I’m a BFA Musical Theatre major in college, so I tap a lot, and was looking for a high quality shoe with rich sounding taps. Definitely got what I wanted in these shoes! They’re comfortable with the extra padding. The leather is sturdy, so I’ll have to break them in, but it’s a good problem. The stacked heel is nice - however I wouldn’t advise for beginning tappers because of it and because of the weight of the shoe. One thing to note - I’ve read a lot of reviews saying these shoes run short. I usually wear an 8-8.5 in regular shoes and purchased an 8.5. They were a little short (just on the big toe) for me, but it was a really quick fix. You can take them to a shoe repair shop and ask them to stretch the shoes lengthwise. It cost about $10 and worked perfectly.

Size chart is very accurate
Fits perfectly, super comfortable, the heel sounds a little low, I loosen up the screws and now sound really nice!

Größe des Schuhs
Der Schuh fällt eher klein aus. Habe eine Nummer größer bestellt. Passt aber trotzdem nicht.Ansonsten ein toller Steppschuh.

conflitto numerazioni EU-US
Purtroppo ho dovuto restituire il prodotto perchè la numerazione europea non corrisponde al vero. Ho preso il 37 e mezzo, ma sembrava un 36... Peccato, il prodotto era buono.
