I recommend these to everyone
Works well, and adds a surprising amount of functionality. THe quick release makes plugging in and disconnecting so easy, so I now never need to think about it. I just plug in whenever, and keep my devices topped up. It also allows you to convert everything to the same connector, which saves from having some USB B, and some USB C. Not had any problems.

LOVE THEM. Makes your older devices feel new.
I know for some, these magnetic adapters might seem like a superfluous expense, but man these things are a game changer if you decide to go all in with them. I now have NUMEROUS magentic adapters (that plug directly into devices), as well as one designated cable and three more converted cables, and gone are the days where I'm fumbling to get my phone on charge, trying to get that stupid micro-usb the right way up. I don't even need two hands anymore. I just hold my phone/tablet/micro-usb device anywhere within an inch of my magnetised cable (including when I'm in the car for Android Auto) and everything snaps into place and immediately starts charging/connects. It makes me feel incredibly lazy but also very smug at the same time. It's a pretty great feeling tbh, and I reckon shaves off AT LEAST 20secs of cable management time from my day (which adds up over the year). All of my devices, whether usb-c or micro-usb, now work off the same cables. As for magentic strength, I've only had one or two instances when the connection has unattached itself. Really, it's very secure. Also, these connectors fast charges my old smartphones, as long as you're using the right cables and chargers.I guess my only slight criticism would be that maybe these adapters might not fit everyone's phone, device, etc. if you have a particularly snug case attached. But that's it. Everything else is 5 stars.

Can last up to two years
Works great and very sturdy. It will still get twisted and bend at some point of use so the charging gets cut off and resume. I've had mine for more than 2 years now and can be a pain when it acts out, but when it works, it works great. I'd still recommend it.

My 90 year old Mum loves these.
I bought to help both myself and my elderly Mum.I love my gadgets and at 90 years Mum has finally learned to embrace her mobile, her tablet, her smart plugs, bulbs, fan and echos. But she struggled to decide which usb plug goes into which socket... and which way.I have bought spares of both leads and inserts so there is an insert in each appliance and then a cable both upstairs and down.It has made life so much easier. The magnet strength is just right. I got the high speed because we aren't the most patient!A little head holder is handy to be kept on each cable comple with one of each usb heads so visitors can also charge irrespective of their mobile age or make. One of my favourite purchases.

Don't work
I have tried them in different devices with different cables and none of them work.Waste of money. Cannot be bothered with the hassle of posting back so have binned them.Won't buy from this dealer again.

Essential, These Days!
In my day, it was 'Three Pin' Plugs. Now? It seems we're destined to need a drawer full of These, indispensable, things.I've just sent for another set. Phone took one. Vape took one. Third one ~ being old and forgetful, these days ~ I cunningly stuck to some random, metallic surface. God knows where! Got another battery operated vape now. So ...Seriously though: Keep digging a solid bit of steel into a relatively flimsy and damageable, tin shrouded little hole? And keep doing that, on an at least daily basis? That's hardly rational behaviour, is it, when These things exist. Playing right into the hands of 'Built in obsolescence', that is!No. These things are brilliant. Plug and Forget. Shame I've forgotten where that other one went :|
