Loose on top of foot
I’m a brannock size 8.5 men’s, I got the size 8-8.5. Length and width is acceptable, but could be a quarter of an inch tighter to make it perfect. The top of the foot is incredibly loose, enough to put a finger on top. This makes it awkward when walking fast, uphill, or taking the stairs. The way the upper and the sole are stitched gives the shoes a very wide ground contact. The other espadrilles I’ve owned, the upper shrinks when wet and left out to dry. I won’t be “shrinking” it because they will be returned, but I’m sure these will shrink when given the treatment.

Uncomfortable
These shoes may look nice but they are so uncomfortable! There's no cushion at all and after working just for a couple of minutes...your feet are hurting! I do not recommend these at all! One more thing, the right shoe was slightly larger than the left, like it was stretched out!
