Genuine Winix 115115 Replacement Filter A for C535, 5300-2, P300, 5300, White/Black

Worth every penny. Room always smells fresh, filters are easy to install. You know when it needs replaced when it takes on a copper color. Bare in mind, these units work WELL meaning they do collect A LOT of pet fur and hair. Keep this in mind if you are a pet owner. If your pet sheds a lot, you will have to vacuum the front and back of the first filter daily. If you do this these HEPA filters will last much longer and the fan speed won't ramp up as often if in auto mode. The color light indicator is nice, but I trust visual inspection more than the sensor when it comes to knowing when to change the filter. Great filters, great device.

Best machine we have which pets and living jn the desert keeps the hair and dust down great design easy to use, noise is a bit loud like whit noise, built strong, no smells and works unbelievable well. Still have and will continue to get more filters.

Great filter and perfect fit

I saw some comments saying that it was thinner than previous filter versions, so I bought one from Amazon and one from the actual Winix website. In the first pic the Amazon one is on left, the filter I removed is in the middle, and the Winix on right, and all three are same thickness and quality. Cheaper on Amazon though. Anyway love this purifier and it works excellently. Also last pic is how I kept my cats from jumping on it and turning it off! Just buy some cat-proof walking material and tie it to front folding panel using fishing wire through one of the many holes on the front panel.

- Genuine Winix HEPA filter- Fits perfect- no foul smell- cost is too expensive (but is better than buying a fake HEPA filter replacement)Overall: These fit perfect, don't smell, work well, but the cost is pretty high for paper type products, this is not a filter for a lab filtration system, it is a simple HEPA for home filters. Cost should be way lower, considering how many of these they make and the materials costs for them, all automated manufacturing process, should be cheaper honestly.(I used to operate industrial air scrubbers for my job that used large intricate HEPA filter replacements. Those I billed insurance about $200 each one I replaced. Those $200 HEPA filters are WAY more complex than these paper filters and are for much larger more expensive machines. I don't see any reason for a high price for these simple filters, but oh well!)

Genuine Winix filters never disappoint. Do not use others—there is a big difference. Other filters are smaller and do not fit properly. Save your money for the original Winix filters.

I bought a number of the Winix air cleaners when they were on sale. The whole machine was less than a single Plasmawave replacement filter. Then there were the fires in Paradise and elsewhere and the air quality became so bad my smoke alarms were going off. For a fire 200 miles away. Fortunately I had the Winix air cleaners installed and they did a great job. I have a laser particulate measuring system for air quality (for arguments with my wife- totally worth it!) that showed indoors the air quality was several hundred fold better than outdoors for the two particle sizes. counted. The carbon coated filters need replacing every few months as they prefilter the dog hair and general linty things floating about. The HEPA filters filter out the micron range bits. After a year you can visibly see the filter color darken as it loads up on schmutz too small to see (lasers can count them without a problem). A lot of that is pollen and other stuff you dont want to think about. So once a year they get recycled. I went for the original Winix because sometimes other brands dont fit right (the seal has to be air tight around the filter or you defeat the purpose of the filter). And I know for certain the Winix filters work because I tested them, so its worth a few extra bucks once a year to use filters I can count on. The whole family gets allergy shots so this helps keep the air inside as healthy as possible. A couple of times a year the pollen is so thick you need to wash it off your car so if thats a problem, this is a solution.

This one next air purifier filter works wonderfully it really filters out allergens and chemicals.
