I just finished my first bottle of this stuff.I was a little shocked at the toxic labelling. But then realised that is in the concentrated form straight out of the bottle. Like chlorine used in pools and drinking water. Chlorine is highly corrosive and deadly in the concentrated forms used in pools. Don't eat it, don't touch it, and try not to breath it. BUT, you dilute it with water and when controlled as directed, it's fine.After using a full bottle, I feel confident the diluted form in the water and then the ever more diluted form that is in the air seems safe. But what do I know. Also, different liquids evaporate at different temperatures. So I wonder how much of the diluted chemicals even make it into the evaporated water.Either way, after 1 winter down, I didn't notice any breathing issues, smells or other affects from the use of this product. And I even do cardio in my home where the humidifier works on the whole house.I did notice that if you add this before filling with water, it gets very foamy. So I fill with water first and then add this solution. No foaming.We also have a water softener for our home, so I don't know if that has affected the efficiency or use of this product. I don't have any proof, but the water seems clean and the tanks seem to stay clean longer and without build up. And my wicks seem to last a long time without build up. And no foul or chemical smells for me.

This stuff really helps keep my humidifier from smelling funky. I just add a little each time I fill it, and it wroks well to stop any build-up or slime. The bactireostatic formula seems to do what it’s supposed to, and my water stays fresher longer. Just check out the image. I haven't seen it clean like this in a while. Only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because I wish the bottle had a smaller spout for easier pouring. Still, it’s been great overall andhelps my humidifier clean and run smoothly without much effort. Must add for a kids room to keep them healthy!

Purchased to help keep my humidifier cleaner, it's helped cut down on the pink mold we get that just happens. It is not a cure-all, still needs washed but this allowed me to extend it until the weekend vs twice a week. Bottle doesn't leak, it's easy to handle and has no smell, which was wonderful.

This stuff actually works. I was having trouble with constantly having to clean my Vicks cool mist humidifier...it would get scummy and the wicking filter would turn brownish and crusty. I used the drop in tank cleaning cartridges that were recommended by the manufacturer and they worked for maybe two weeks (the month of sanitizing action that was claimed was stretching it IMHO)...that's just not good enough for me considering their price. I run my humidifiers CONSTANTLY in the winter and I was getting tired of replacing wicking filters and having to totally clean out the tray under the tank on a weekly basis - I'm a busy girl on a budget.Read the reviews for this product and decided to give it a try. It really works. I add 5ml to the tank each time I fill it up (once a day) and I see NO MORE SCUM/BIOFILMS forming in any part of the tray, on the filter, or in the tank. No discoloration. I wish I had a before picture but attached is how my wicking filter looks after AT LEAST a month of constant use...clean and moist. Before using this product after the same amount of time I would see discoloration always in the filter.Also I was pleased to see the large size of the bottle. I always expect to receive bottles of product that are much smaller than I had expected. This will last a long time - easily one winter and then some. I keep it right under the sink where I fill the tank along with a 5ml syringe ( I work in a lab). Easy peasy. Don't waste time with anything else.ps. I don't write reviews..so this product really impressed me

First off all this about blue label and intent to defraud us. Amazon is NOT the fraud police nor the instigator of class action lawsuits as part of Prime memberships :) And above all we must be kind and remember that none of us are perfect - even (and especially) company bigwig hoohahs. Sometimes a mistake is made and probably not with evil intent. MAYBE the blue label stated the amount needed in a wrong or confusing manner, or maybe people read it incorrectly. That said I cannot SEE the bottle labels to know; perhaps one of the conspiracy theorists would take a peek. And, the Wally Worlds (Walmart) in my zip code have NONE of ANY for sale much less one for !!!!!$4!!!!! as one comment stated. So please do this writer the favor of carefully reading the labels and to know how big the tank is you are filling because I care about your health more than I care about a couple dollars. My label says ONE CAP PER GALLON. Humidifiers come in all sorts of sizes so a measure per gallon makes the most sense. Also note that there are 3 products in this particular line now - see how the label changed to show the 123. I am certain they had to change the labels to include all the products and t make sure all things are correct and NOT misleading. If someone is putting 1 cap into each 2.5 gallon side of a 5 gallon humidifier like mine, then they might actually get sick from contamination when they thought they were preventing it and thus be mad and sue the socks off someone. I'd rather have the correct amount not a diluted one so I am happy to put 3 caps per side in my 2.5 gallon tanks. THOSE CAPS ARE TINY!!!!! I am not sure I could correctly make a 1/2 cap so I use a full one :)Secondly, my first review was for a $9.99 single 32 oz. WHITE LABEL :) bottle. I thought it was a fair price, having just bought the humidifier it seemed reasonable to me. I use 6 caps each time I fill'er up. I have allergies to mold so it is an investment in my health. The other day I actually ran out and trying to get some fast, I was discouraged because Wally World here didn't have any at all in the store or available to pick up later at the store, and their merchants were pirating. So using my cell on Amazon while wandering Wally World desperately seeking bacteria killer I saw in my search results: " BestAir 3BT Original Humidifier Bacteriostatic Water Treatment 96 oz. 3 Pack" so I ordered it - I liked the idea of paying $25 for 3 large 96 bottles (or even 3 of the 32 oz.). I figured waiting 2 days would be OK to run the Air Care with just plain water for 1.5 days - my dog hacks all night without running it, the Air Care truly has been a cure for both our winter coughs. Anyway....what I ended up getting delivered was TWO times 52 oz. bottles - NOT 3 times 96 oz. bottles. But now I see that it was "probably supposed to be " 3 bottles of the 32 oz size - I guess - so why I got 2 of the 52 oz is not for me to say. My seller was "Jackson's Hardware" which was the next seller up to bat on the order (we can always choose our seller or go with the automatically selected next one in line). In my case the order was fulfilled by Amazon - they pack and ship from seller inventory held at its huge warehouses. But still the label had the correct title, and I didn't lose anything, it is just odd. I took a couple pictures in case you think I am daft, which you might think anyways based on all my verbiage ;) I am so entertained by writing!ORIGINAL REVIEW: reasonable price, it uses 1 (very) small capful per gallon and for my unit it is about every 4-5 days.
