What is the best way to use this along my side walk and drive way ect and make it look clean cut and nice?

TIP: this is a cutter, not a shovel & should not be used for shoveling or lifting out grass/sod like you would with a shovel. For best results, place the blade next to the sidewalk to be trimmed, with shaft straight up vertically against the edge of the sidewalk, then stomp straight down on the edger shearing off any overhanging grass or sod. Repeat this cutting process along the sidewalk until finished. Then with a regular shovel easily scoop up the trimmed grass/sod & dispose.

Hey ya'll, i'm 67 years old, female, 5'5", 115 lbs. will this work for me? i have red alabama clay, but know to do this after a good rain.

I'm 73, 5'2", 122 lbs., and it works for me in Alabama coastal sand. A good rain still helps, but hand edging is work no matter what! It's not so much the consistency of the soil as the toughness of the grass that is the issue here.
