TeraFlex 1155300 JT: 1.5” Performance Spacer Leveling Kit – No Shock Absorbers

I am not a mechanic but I like to do as much as I can by myself, so I decided to order this leveling kit and give it a try. I have followed the instructions, and I was able to proceed with the installation. You would need a torque wrench and a torque angle gauge. I didn’t want to rush it, and I was cautious at every steps, it took me 3hrs, in my driveway. But I have no doubt it can be done faster than that, however this isn’t a race. I have drove 500km since the installation, so far no issue, I have re-torqued everything as indicated in the instructions. Good product, not very complicated to install, good price.

This fit perfectly on JT front coil, The kit came with 2x0.5" and 2x1.0" spacer, you can choose to install 0.5" lift, or 1.0" lift or 1.5" lift (by stack them together). Install is fairly straight forward on my driveway. The instruction on teraflex is rather complicated asking you to disconnect the entire front end. I installed by by using 2 jack stands and a floor jack, the trick is to do one side at a time with the tyre remain on THE OTHER SIDE so the axle only drops on the working side, this allows the spring to be removed (I did use a set of spring compressor to clamp the coil down a bit for easy removal). the electrical connector to the front locker also needs to be disconnected to allow the axle to drop further.

Great leveling kit with well detailed instructions. Install took me about an hour. Even a diy guy with mediocre mechanical skill can do this in his driveway in under 2hrs. I’d recommend against purchasing other kits that are copies, this one is built to last and terraflex has a long reputation of making good products. I will say if you install the 1” and .5” spacer in the front you’ll want to get a 3/4 leveling kit for the rear especially if you haul a lot in the bed. As you can see in the picture my jeep now sets a little low in the rear with around 200lbs of cargo.

This is a 1.5 year update! I had never installed a leveling kit before and this one ended up being very straightforward. You will need proper equipment to do it safely, including a floor jack and jack stands, but the install itself was not complicated. It’s been installed for about a year now and I’ve had zero issues. No strange noises, no shifting, and everything still feels solid. The stance looks much better and it completely leveled out the front. I recently put new tires on and the setup still looks great. Ride quality has remained consistent and I’ve been happy with how it’s performed long term. Overall, great quality kit and I would definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a simple leveling solution. I have had ZERO issues in the 1.5 years It has been on there.

I installed the full 1 1/2" spacer set in the front of my Gladiator to allow for a bit more room up front and a bit larger tire. Most people say they can run 35's with this set and I do believe it, but I went with 33's for now, maybe bigger next set of tires. The installation was very doable with basic tools, and I did do a alignment after the install but the only thing out was the camber as it did lift the vehicle. Very pleased with it and I wouldn't hesitate buying more terra flex products in the future
