Q: What temperature and wattage heat gun did you use to shrink tubing?

Since I do not have a heat gun, I used a propane torch to carefully distribute heat and shrink the rather large inner and outer pieces of heat shrinkable tubing.

Q: Can it be used in a wall? Behind Dry wall?

No. Its is for direct burial. It would be a code violation to enclose it in a wall.

Q: Can I use this above ground? Specifically I need to splice 10/2 uf wires running under a wooden walk way that is subject to ocassion flooding.

Yes. Be careful when you heat the shrink tubing, do not use a flame but rather a heat gun. For extra protection, before I made the connections, I slid a piece of electrical conduit over the wire, made the connection with the splice kit, sealed it with the shrink tubing with a heat gun, then slid the conduit over the splice and with the splice centered in the conduit, sealed up the ends of the conduit with silicone sealer. Has worked great.

Q: What type of plastic is the heat shrink tubing made of?

Polyolefin is the plastic usually used for electrical shrink tubing because of its temperature range to 125 or 135C
