Great for cat litter!
Been using this for a couple months to discard used cat litter and it does the job very well, the odors are completely contained. Quite thankful for this product actually! And love that I can use any bag, which is great for convenience, cost (WAAAAY cheaper than cartridge scams) AND more environmentally friendly as well. I'd give this six stars if I could.

good design, can use normal bags if wanted, limited capacity
it's a nappies bin. Design isn't bad but sometimes fiddly to assemble. The lid swinging inwards (primary seal) does limit the bin capacity, but that's a small price to pay.

Recommend
We initially were put off by the cost. This is a higher priced item compared to rivals. But taking into account how long you were going to be using this, the cost is less overall compared to other cassette based bins we were looking at. I also liked the idea that this could be used as a bathroom bin as it is super simple to use and in how it looks. We are using regular bin liners and found it easy to use and remove with little smell other than when emptying the bin. Would definitely recommend to others buying this over others out there ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The smell!
I’m not a fan of this bin but it’s not bad enough for me to stop using it. Overall, it’s a good size and easy enough to use in the middle of the night when you’re half asleep and the smell is contained when the lid is shut. The negatives: it’s a pain to change the bin liner and the smell is unreal when you take the lid off - like the plastic is slowly absorbing smells and compounding over time. I 100% do not recommend using the included compostable bin liners. They start to break down almost immediately and I think they really contributed to the smell - think nappy soup. As for changing bin liners, there’s too many parts to touch and take apart and it just gives me the heebeejeebies. I much prefer my metal nappy bin which doesn’t retain smells.Update: after a week of baby’s gastric distress, my partner and I are thoroughly disgusted by this nappy bin. Too many parts need to be touched to change the bin liners and all the parts stay in contact with dirty nappies. It’s unhygienic and the smell is unbearable. We can’t even rehome the bin as the smell is so bad. Get a metal bin and save yourself the hassle. No stars.

No smell
High quality finish and materials. It fits together snug with a good seal so no smell comes out. Really useful if a little bit expensive.

Not bad
Keeps the smell away for the most part, but sometimes the flap stays open when you put a nappy in, meaning you have to jiggy it around so that it shuts properly (otherwise the smell escapes!) – also does NOT come with any bags included as advertised. Kind of a pain to clean as well. Think our basic bin with a simple lid worked just as well tbh!

Use for Sanitary products
Very versatile bin, for sanitary products, nappy bin, outside for dog or cat purposes for poo bags. Literally anything, good size.Great value for money as some actual sanitary bins are quite expensive.
