BRADDELL Indoor FL-41 Rose & Outdoor FL-60 Brown Tinted Migraine Light Sensitivity Glasses for Fluorescent LED Glare, Photophobia and Concussion (MEDIUM-SMALL)

It has been three years since I purchased these FL-41 glasses to help combat light sensitivity due to chronic migraine disease. I have purchased other brands both before and since, but I am leaving this review to tell why these are the best choice for me. I will be purchasing more at some point because I am not always careful and the lenses are starting to scratch a bit. That said; the lenses are durable and do not scratch easily. I don't always remember to put the glasses back in the case, I mean I rarely remember. Most of the time they end up in a jacket pocket, the bottom of my purse, or the dash cubby in my car. Three years later and they are just starting to show wear from the mistreatment. I've looked through these reviews and I have seen multiple people comment on how light the frames are and then insinuate that they must be cheap or flimsy. Not the truth at all. They are light, yes, but there is a good reason for that. When a person is sensitive to the light, they often use other resources to find relief, like hats. How often do you put on your glasses and hat and find that an hour later the tops of your ears hurt from the hat pinching the hard frames in between your head and your ear? Not these light and flexible frames. I can wear them all day under my favorite wide brimmed hat. Fantastic protection from a bright sunny day. I also find that the slightly rounded outer corners of the frames help them to fit under ball caps without getting in the way of the rounded bill. Now if Braddell would only make a clip on in standard claw format for easy on/off. Removing the flip up lenses from my prescription frames is a hassle, and I do not want to sit through lunch at a nice restaurant with outdoor lenses flipped up the whole time. Tacky.

So worth the money. They both help so much with working on screens and just bright lights in general. They are obviously not super high quality. But they are just fine for use while sitting at a desk. I very much recommend them

THE REAL DEAL! Wowwwww! I was in a miserable state after I started working in a fluorescent-laden office where I have to sit under dozens of ultra bright fluorescent ballasts all day. I wanted to throw up after just 30 mins at work, and migrains, dizziness, nausea, and nervousness had become my constant companions. The lights were making me so sick and dizzy that I couldn’t even eat lunch. Plus, the anxiety from the lights was a real issue. I was ready to quit. But then, out of sheer desperation, I bought these glasses, and my life changed! I’m no longer dealing with eye pain, headaches, dizziness, loss of appetite, or panic. They’re also super light, and it feels like I’m not even wearing them. Now, the office lights are bearable, my computer screen is much more comfortable, and I’m feeling less tired. My nervous system is balanced again. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND these to anyone seeking relief from sitting under fluorescent lights all day. They saved me! Just get them.

They’re wonderful, especially getting both pairs for that price. I have chronic illnesses and a vestibular condition from inner ear damage, so I get heavy supermarkets syndrome in stores and crowds and fluorescent lights and passing a bunch of labels and products overwhelms my system and I get heavy dizziness and disorientation. I was stressing looking for FL-41 glasses because they get so expensive. Ordered these and they showed up in less than 24 hours, wore them to the store I have issues in every time and while it doesn’t cure things, I was MUCH more comfortable, could process more visual information, and not scared of hitting the floor. That is worth so much, I can’t begin to explain it. The reason I gave them four stars is because there is a very small scratch in one of the lenses and because the case was broken upon arrival. But I think the case is just cheaply made. The glasses are very lightweight and comfortable. Wish they came in more shapes. They do feel very fragile, so just be careful with them and treat them well. But given that they’ve helped at all, they’re worth the buy, in my opinion.

Love these, I wear them all the time now and they’re definitely saving my optic nerves. I put them on and it’s like instant relief, been getting less headaches. Definitely a “where have you been all my life” type of product. I like that the arms are flexible too.

These stylish glasses seemed like an answer to my prayers for my migraine-caused photosensitivity. I saw many positive reviews on Reddit and was hopeful. The lenses are darker than the photos show, so unfortunately they’re not suitable for my workplace where most of my photosensitivity flares up. The frames are very lightweight, which other reviewers mention, but seem pretty durable. If you’re not running around a lot, I think these may be perfect. (I don’t run around when my migraines flairs up, so I wasn’t worried about that). However, the nosepiece is quite narrow and not adjustable. I found it uncomfortable for periods longer than twenty minutes due to a sinus issue that makes my nose really sensitive right now. A lot of other reviewers haven’t had this issue, so I may be an outlier (and I have had this problem with other glasses pairs before, so I guess I just need adjustable nose pieces on my frames). I did feel relief from the lights when wearing them around my home, so I wish I could wear them longer! Overall I think these glasses are worth a try, and they may be perfect for others. I just wanted to share about the nosepiece since my sinus issues are migraine-related and others with my same problem may want to consider that if looking for photosensitive lenses.

I get migraines frequently. Wearing these glasses have reduced my migraines. They are light weight and high quality. So far I dont have any scratches. I have worn them for months. Highly recommend.

I personally mainly use the FL-41 indoor glasses, but I have also used the outdoor ones as well, and they are effective at minimizing discomfort from florescent lighting and computer screens. They are also extremely lightweight, and well fitting. Bonus for being stylish too.

These are great! I have photophobia (light sensitivity) as I have optic nerve damage from MS, I also get light sensitive from migraines and a delicate eye in general from cataract removal and multi focal intraocular lens replacement. Night time driving was getting a bit too much for me because of the halos I get from lights and also the crazy LEDs they put in newer car models these days are BLINDING and always feel like high beams to me delicate eye. These have made life a bit easier for me. Night time driving isn't as difficult and painful for my eye. I feel less eye strain and pain when using them with screens. These are just great for migraines and I love that there are two shades. I use the darker ones during intense migraines and it's much nicer than burying my head in darkness all day. The arms of the glasses aren't a hard plastic but have a bit of flex to them which is great because I am prone to breaking stuff easily. Highly recommend if you have the same or similar issues as me. Funnily enough, I get a lot of compliments on my 'trendy glasses' and people are surprised when I tell them I use them for medical not fashion reasons.

偏頭痛もちで、室内の白色LEDや、直射日光で頭痛や吐き気・めまいがする体質です。 相談したらFL-41というしんどい光だけカットしてくれるメガネがあるということでしたが、メガネ屋さんで売ってるものは2〜3万円するらしくまずは効果を試そうとこちらを買ってみました。 こちらは、赤色が思ったより濃いので赤いサングラスをつけてる見た目になりますがしっかりしんどい光をカットしてくれます！かなり楽です。 強い日差しの元では日傘を使いますが、道路や横断歩道の白色からの照り返しが目の奥にズキズキきてつらかったですが、こちらをかけるとめちゃくちゃラクで最高でした！！！ ボストン型のレンズも可愛く、ファッションにもいい感じに合います！！ 茶色のレンズの方も運転中につけてみましたが、こちらも楽です。強い日差しの下だと視界は黄色っぽく見えるけどかなりクリアに見えるのにしんどさは軽減されます。 今まで濃い黒色や茶色のサングラスを使ってましたが、それよりずっと明るく見えるのにしんどさが軽減されていてかなり気に入りました！！！ 会社や室内でつけるには赤色はちょっと色が濃いので、メガネ屋さんで正規品の薄い色を作ろうと思います。 見た目を気にしないのであればこちらの商品で十分かと！！ 2個入るサングラスケースも付属してくるので保管もそのままいけますよ！

Ho acquistato questo set della BRADDELL OPTICS perché soffro spesso di forti emicranie e passo molte ore davanti al computer. Devo dire che la differenza si nota subito. Le lenti rosa FL-41 sono fantastiche per l'uso quotidiano in ufficio sotto le luci a LED e fluorescenti, riducendo drasticamente il fastidio agli occhi. Le lenti marroni FL-60 sono perfette quando la sensibilità alla luce diventa più acuta. La montatura è leggera e comoda da indossare anche per molte ore. Consigliatissimi a chiunque soffra di fotofobia!

Är mycket nöjd! Stor skillnad att ha dem på när man är ljuskänslig vid migrän. Bra produkt, glasögon är lätta och bra kvalité. Massa +++
