Nice and bright
I bought this light to put in my fish tank in order to make the fish, rocks and decorations "glow". I have a few fish that will "glow" when exposed to blue led lights. When the light first arrived, the directions stated to inspect the light and turn it on before using it to ensure it was properly working. I was pleasantly surprised to see how very bright the lights are. At that moment I could wait to get it in the tank!Previously, I had one small led bulb that I have placed in the tank cover. Though this did provide "some" glowing effect, it can't compare to the amount of glowing now provided by this light bar.The rocks, decorations, and fish are glowing much more than I ever expected! If you are looking to make your own glowing tank, I highly recommend this light bar. The lights are intense and provide ample light for your tank, it's beautiful!!Personally I rely heavily on the reviews of others when I'm shopping. With that said, it's my goal to be as helpful and as honest as possible when writing a review. If you found this review helpful, please click "yes".

Long light strip, and worth it.
I bought this because the light my tank came with stopped working! This one is bright and does the job well. I have a 5 gallon tank for my betta and a shrimp. My gripe is how long the actual light is! Lol. Of course it's my own fault for not measuring properly, so I won't deduct stars for my own error. But I've made it work and I'm content. You have to place it at the top of the tank to get the best results, so bear that in mind when making the decision to buy this one.Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase.

Looks very cool!
This blue light looks really cool in my aquarium! It is so bright that it lightens up my 75 gallon tank pretty well. I much prefer this over the old-style aquarium lights that sits on top. This light is submersible and has suction cups so you can place wherever you want.

Not very bright, if you need bright choose something else.
It's dimmer than expected but then, it wasn't expensive either. It appears to be well made and has worked without fail for about a year now.

Working perfectly
I got three of theses to put under my glass shelves in my China cabinet because I keep for Beta lined up across the bottom it's working perfectly ! I even lay a heating pad on the shelf above them and turn it on lowish with auto shut off after two hours to keep that area warm if needed that way no heaters in each! I love it ! I'm a Sucker to rescue a Betta they are kept in such horrible conditions at Petco I have 7 ugh

Just as expected
It's a nice little light for the price. I preferred this over the expensive LED strips they sell at pet stores. I used it in my 20 gal tank. I'm debating on whether or not i need another one because i have it on one side of the tank as an addition to the standard UV light. It is a bright light, but for anything bigger than 20 gal, i would recommend 2, especially if you plan on using it as the only source of light. It camouflages well inside the tank. I love that it has a switch.

Great light and easily able to attach to hood
I am using this with a stock light already mounted under my aquarium hood. This one connects to my stock light so I can still use just one plug adapter. It has a hole on both ends allowing it to be screwed into wherever you need it.I came with a plug so you can use it out of the box. If you buy 2 or more they can be connected. It puts of a decent about of light. I wouldn't characterize it as a high output, but for a low tech tank needing more light this works great.

Perfect little light for smaller fish tank
Had this for a while now & was able to verify it would last. I wouldn't say it's super bright, but it works perfectly for a smaller tank. I'm using it for the red & blue colors as night lighting to see nocturnal fish, for which it works very well. I did have it on for a time in a planted tank and my amazon sword didn't die it that counts for anything :-)
