Has anyone used it for thicker book? (Bible)

I had tried a much bigger cook book on it and I don’t like that the holder left an oily (wood stain material) stain on the part of the page resting on it, moreover since the edges of the holder are not smooth, it mangled the part of the page coming in contact with it; not to mention it felt like the holder didn’t feel sturdy, it felt as if the book was about to topple over any minute.

Has anyone used it for paperback books?

Don’t waste your time it is very flimsy and it is only good for thin hard cover books. I hate it.

Esthétique et efficace !

Objet pratique et esthétique, j'adore. J'aime aussi que l'on puisse désolidariser les deux parties et les ranger si besoin. Joli bois, joli couleur, presque un objet de déco et pas cher. Je recommande vivement.

Dirty stain dirties EVERYTHING

The stain is terrible, and dirties anything it touches. Yes, including the books you try putting it on! In the photo, you will see I’ve tried to clean away access stain, but even after thoroughly wiping it off, it still turns BLACK
