Works perfectly. I use it for the C drive. The bootup time of my PC has increased significantly.

This is really good SSD especially for old laptop. This is fast and works well. Build quality is good. Packaging was not good. They should use proper packaging for electronic items because in rainy season.

Bought this WD Green 240GB SSD for external, temporary file storage. Works well for basic backups and light usage—especially helpful with older potato laptops. Not ideal for storing important data long-term, but for everyday transfers, it’s great value for money.

Awesome product & satisfied speed of data transfer. I have i7 processor based laptop and it's giving 6 GB/s speed of data read speed. Up to 4.5 GB/s write speed. Recommend to purchase for a good experience. Reliability test is in progress.

Stay away from WD or sandisk drives/memory products. Purchased total 4 drives over 3 years back (2022), 2 nos WD green and 2 nos Kingston. The Kingston drives are working fine till date. The first WD drive was installed in a netbook and had very low use. It failed within a few days with low hours of use. The second WD drive was installed in a toshiba notebook, worked Ok for 2 years then during final days before failing started giving windows error messages with blue screen of death. Had made a backup of data and one fine day the drive failed with bios message "no boot device found". Connected both drives to a external SATA-USB reader, first drive fully dead, second showed C,D drives but could not access. Please note all drives were installed in my home PC setup and were used to upgrade from older conventional HDD drives. Not much working hours since the PC are normally used for Mail check, stock market or amazon shopping. Warranty replacement was a breeze. Just register on Sandisk website RMA. Visit nearest RMA dealer for replacement and they normally provide replacement drives on the spot if they are in stock. Mine was 240 GB green drives and are pretty common so got immediate replacement. For premium product you might have to come another day to pickup replacement since they might not be readily available at their premises. Pros: Nothing. Only replacement of both WD drives was hassle free. But RMA centres are far off and limited in numbers. Cons: Just make sure not to use on data critical PC's or as a backup drive. Your data will be lost, just a matter of time. Am using warranty replacement drive since last 1 month but the speed is very slow and sometimes boot up takes 4 minutes. Taking weekly backups since data are just PDF and exel files. Same experience with Sandisk micro SD card. During warranty RMA came to know both have same parent company. If you start getting occasional windows error messages or system crashes immediately start data backup and wait for the drive to eventually fail.
