Can this stay on all night if I put it on when going to bed? I have a torn rotator cuff and lots of joint damage in my shoulder. Lots of discomfort

I don’t think you would want to wear it all night. The Ice pack stays cold for less than an hour in summer temps. I have used it for relief after torn rotator cuff surgery. It is the best ice pack I have had for the shoulder. It allows me to strap it in place and move about the house.

Can it be used on either shoulder?

Yes, the straps are removable to allow you to change this to either a right or a left shoulder, and the allow you to choose to use the soft velour-like side or the vinyl (colder) side.

Hi, this ice pack requires refreeze time of 4 hours for each use?

I don’t usually have it in for the full 4 hours before I ice again. I will keep on my shoulder for 20 minutes and it seems sufficiently cold to help. I’m recovering from shoulder surgery and did get two packs. Rotate usually 40 minutes in the freezer 20 minutes on my shoulder. So each is getting about 2 hours in before it’s used again.

Suitable for a 5’9” 175 lb male?

Absolutely. I'm 5'2 and 200 lbs, my husband is 6'3" and 300 lbs, and its comfortable for both of us. It fits well, and is super comfortable.

This was good for rotator cuff after surgery, although it is quite heavy. Fit for purpose and aided recovery.

Comfortable and non-restricting.

This provides instant relief to my aching shoulder. I really like that it is strapped securely in place so that I can do other things while my shoulder gets iced. (I was previously using a bag of frozen peas...which works, but requires that I hold the peas in place. :( ) The shoulder ice pack is easy to use and does a great job. I am a petite female and I was worried that the bag might be too bid for me, but it is easily adjusted to fit snuggly and stay in place. It tightens around my bicep (barely - it is slightly big there for me) and it tightens firmly across my chest.
