Yard Tuff YTF-22LB Large Decorative Collectible Cast Iron Metal Farm Dinner Bell

This is the 2nd of these we have purchased and the bell is solid, heavy and functions well. It is a good size and fits nicely atop a 4" x 6" post. Good quality iron ... our last one held up for over 20 years and only broke when a tree fell on it during a storm.

Yes it works but if your looking for quality, this isn't it. Very bad casting. Does not sit in the cradle very will. Had to do some grinding on it to make is sit better. Out of balance. Tilts to one side. It does ring out okay.

It's nothing more than made in china castings. A lot of casting flash. If you have a Dremel and a can or two of quality spray paint it is worth it.

This was a birthday present for my brother. He truly loved it.

what do you want me to say it s a bell

the bell itself is nice the cradle it sits on has to much space for the bell to sit level and i put the post in cement and level on all sides and when someone rings the bell it dont come back all by itself i had to use electrical tape to make it level on the cradle

Heavy duty, beautiful, just what I wanted. Looks and sounds like an old school house bell. Would like it to ring a little easier. Takes some practice to get a consistent bell ringing going.

Just what we needed. You can hear the bell down by the river 5 acres away through old growth northwest forest.
