Good Book and a Good Series
Before I really go into my review I would like to point out that I rarely review software and reading material/books. I believe that both areas are VERY subjective as to what works and what doesn't for each person so what might be a great choice for me might actually be a disaster for someone else. That said occasionally I do break down and decide to rate something that I found especially enjoyable. That is the case with not only this book but ALL the rest of the books in this series. Which is what prompted me to do this review. I actually thought all the stories in this series have been pretty well thought out and the issues that have cropped up have been very consistent with the types of issues you would find in superhero-based graphic novels so the books work really well with the theme. I also appreciate how well thought out the descriptions of the powers used by the various characters and how and why they work the way they do. It makes reading these books quite enjoyable (for me).

Good, but I feel the storyline running out of steam.
What can I say? This series has been one that interests me even when it frustrates me at times. The main character "Kid Sensation" is a lot of fun, but as a typical teenage boy he makes a lot of mistakes that annoy me as a human being, but are understandable when you remember that he's written to be a teenage boy.I will say that the rube Goldberg villain set up here is very over the top, but that's to be expected considering the excessive amount of power that Kid Sensation has. Kevin Hardman really doesn't have a lot of options if he wants to provide a credible enemy. It makes me think that this probably needs to be the final story for a while. Kevin's need to make Kid Sensation sensational has also left him little opportunity for real dramatic tension. He writes action well, and the mystery wasn't a complete flop, but even with all that the tension wasn't there in my opinion.Fun, and a worthy successor to the rest of the series, but I don't see many avenues to continue the plotline which is sad, Kevin created a very interesting universe.

Still Has Magick!!
I look for a series that still can keep me coming back for more. And I continually find it with Mr. Hardman's Kid Sensation series. His world creating and character building still brings out the fun in life and simple magic and joy of a comic book ride for me. Thank you sir for reminding me again that heroics and fun can still be found in places other than the Big Two companies out there. (Marvel and DC)This 3rd installment keeps up the same pace he had before. I would advise readers to read the prior books to get a better grip of what's going on in this book. Though he does provide some background information to readers, so you can squeeze by if not.Sir, you keep writing. I will keep buying.

Down hill..
The first book was a great read and has a uniqueness to it... The second book was similar to the first and it wasn't in a good way. My problem with this book is the villain are literally weaklings I mean seriously they're way below the kid in terms o power, don't get me started on the government guy who somehow can bully supes without breaking a sweat. And the third book villain was literally useless, seriously he becomes insubstantial and they have a discussion(lol) on how they will get him. Kid is ridiculously powerful and each power has 100 applications, I'm positive he can beat AP with the way hi abilities are set up. 3 stars

Enjoyable read, 4.5 stars
The Kid Sensation stories are good, solid storytelling. This one would be all five stars except for some places where the editing isn't quite tight, and the sense of peril isn't quite as strong as in the previous book. That's not really necessary, we all need a 'down issue' or two in our comics between major arcs, but usually that's so you can build on the characters with more interaction, and that doesn't really happen to the degree that it should. There could also be a bit more 'show' and a bit less 'tell' even though the story IS being narrated from the POV of the hero.Still a good read.

Another " Kid Sensation"
Just finished this latest Kid Sensation book and as with the others I Really Like It! I don't care this series is labeled a Teen book and I'm 55 years old. Darn it a good book is a good book don't care what you called it. It's a great series and I don't think you would be disappointed if you were get them.

Another fun read
A great romp in the superhero world. The Kid Sensation series is good at establishing a world in which growing up and battling evil go hand in hand. Sometimes I think the author is trying to create the superhero equivalent of Harry Potter. And in some ways, he succeeds. While not as compelling for this Potter fan, the Kid Sensation books are still very fun.

YES
Ok. Much better, Jim is maturing and thinking ahead now. Not so many "WTH" moments and actually has good relationships with friends & his girlfriend. Good job Mr. Hardman (really) ;o)

Very enjoyable read
Overall I really do like the Kid Sensations series, its actually a very enjoyable read. Its got a lot of cliches in the story and the story is a bit simple, but for all its faults its still a really enjoyable read. Its probably aimed at the younger readers but I would still recommend it for the adult readers out there.
