My dog LOVES this thing! It keeps her busy for a good 45 minutes if she gets distracted, we use it to hide her food because she swallows it whole when we feed her in a bowl. So this has slowed her eating wayyyy down and has helped immensely in keeping her occupied. The quality is nice, i love that it’s felt, BUT it seems like if she scratches at it enough, the strings of the fabric come out and feels fuzzy. I’m not sure how to describe it but it looks like it might experience some pretty bad ware and tear after a while. I love how easy it is to set up, and the variety of folds help the food get stuck so that my dog can sniff and dig her way around. Very nice toy set up!

My boys love these snuffle mats. Since I bought them, they are always excited when I pull them from the cabinet. It keeps them busy for a while, and they don't eat their kibbles too quickly. It's simple to clean; I just put it in the washer and hang it to dry. Suitable for small dogs, such as my babies.

This mat provides excellent enrichment time for scent hounds. Our mini dachshund puppy loves finding treats hidden in the mat. It is also a very affordable option. Our puppy likes to play and sleep on it even when there aren’t treats in it. If your dog is an aggressive or obsessive chewer, I would only leave out when treats or food are hidden inside and then pick up because it will get damaged.

Both my dogs have loved this for years. Both senior dogs - great fun activity for them and they really hunt for all the treats we hide! My little one usually wins and takes over the game board then uses it as a lounger after :-) It’s very interactive with different ways to hide treats and challenge the dogs. We’ve had it awhile and it has stood up to many uses and washes. Very easy to store and simply roll out when it’s game time. Highly recommend!

This mat is effective to keep my dogs busy and make them think. When I received the mat I had to unroll it and place heavy objects on the corners because it kept trying to roll back up. I do not like the material of the mat because it is stiff and the material does not move around easily. That could make it more difficult for the dog to get the food out which could be good for some but I personally rather have a softer material. Since it is a stiff material it makes it hard to place the food/treats but it is still usable. I personally would not buy this brand again based off the material of the product. It still works and that is the only reason I am keeping the mat instead of returning it. The mat in my opinion feels cheap and I do not think it is worth what I paid for it. The only reason I am giving 3 stars is because it is still effective but would not be my first choice.

I'm surprised at how well this matt is holding up to our heavy chewer, Oliver! He really has to work to get all the little treats, chews and squeaky toys out which makes for great mental stimulation. Oliver is an Australian Cattle Dog, (Blue Heeler), that needs to be challenged, especially, when it's too cold/snowing out to be in our Wisconsin weather. Surprisingly inexpensive while being well made with tough material and sturdy stitching. He loves it so much that he lays on it or brings toys/chews to it to enjoy! Didn't expect that.

What a Piece of Garbage! If I could I’d have given this ZERO STARS!!! My Dogs WON’T GET NEAR IT! Obviously it smells wrong or they sense that it is TRASH!! If I were a canine, I wouldn’t give it my consideration Either! It looks large online but when you receive it, it is a Small RAG! THIS Attempt at a SNUFFLE MAT IS INSULTING!!! DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY on this GARBAGE‼️During the time period I had to return it, I was in the Hospital after having a Heart Attack!!I am still trying to Recover & I CANNOT DO MUCH!! Otherwise I would have returned it!!! It’s sitting in a corner in my bedroom. I had to unwrap the CHEAP PLASTIC WRAP COVER so I could even tell WHATit was. As It was diagonally Rolled UP, I had to unwrap & look at it & show it to my Dogs-The DOGS WOULDN’t get near it & now I’m STUCK WITH THIS PIECE OF GARBAGE THAT I CANNOT GET MY MONEY BACK ON‼️Yes, I am upset ! This ugly Thing hasn’t even been TOUCHED by my 3 Dogs & now I’m STUCK WITH SOMETHING USELESS THAT MY DOGS WOULDN’t even get near & I CAN’T GET A REFUND FOR!!! THIS IS THE TYPE OF TRANSACTION THAT I FIND HIGHLY OFFENSIVE ABOUT AMAZON & the Fly By Night companies they represent!!!!!

Unlike plastic dog puzzle toys, my dog actually likes this one. The difficulty level is probably medium, which is great for dogs that are not super food motivated and she is able to get to all the treats without loosing interest, while still spending good 20-30 minutes foraging through the mat. It also seems sturdy, we have been using it for a few weeks and so far I see no tears or teeth marks. I have a small to medium sizes dog and this size mat works for her perfectly and you can roll it and secure it pretty easily for storage. I have not washed it yet, but It seems like it would be pretty easy to do. Once the dog is tired of it, we can retire it to our guinea pig as well.
