Dog dimensions: Small 17lb, 13" shoulder to tails, 19" chest. Fits a little big, but not sure a small would be a better option.Jacket dimension: Medium size: 14" neck to end, 2" for the collar of the jacket (total 16" long including collar)Pros- 2nd photo - you can see there's a cut at the top for a harness leash, not just a collar.- Very thick and warm feeling- Tag says machine/hand washableCons- The piece which would be on the belly of the dog has a lot of fabric and stretch. But extra middle fabric seems to not fit so snug and drags on the ground.- Reversibility does not feel like a true reversible jacket due to all the velcro. When you want the black showing, not the plad, the velcro is a little awkward to adhere.- Be prepared for lots of velcro (see 4th photo). 1.5"x5" velcro. 3 velcro locations (neck, and under)- 4th photo, you can see the black velcro areas. The connection between the middle and top is sewn.

Sizing is true to advertising. The inside is smooth, not fuzzy, which allowed our pup's new hair to come in without brushing off. The vet didn't want us to have sherpa or fleece lining. Wish there was a way to get the hairs out of the velcro. Otherwise, we are very happy with the color selection and glad they come big enough for our Great Pyr who is recovering from his 14 months away. The fleas did a number on him!

I really liked this jacket. My dog is a lab mix, and he’s a very weird shape. Larges are often too tight, XL too big.He’s about 68 lbs. I got him an XL. It was super easy to put on, and the middle “stretchy” band around his waist was perfect. It was a bit snug around his neck/front chest, so I didn’t Velcro it all the way.Unfortunately, I realized that I forgot to check if it had a harness hook before ordering it. I don’t like putting on a harness first, then jacket, and this didn’t seem to have either. It’s a shame, but it just wasn’t what I ultimately needed.

The coat is a good fit for my boy who is about 24 lbs. I didn't measure his neck since it said it adjusts easily. I did measure his chest and body and came pretty close. I chose to get him a large, still plenty of room in the coat, but not too much that it fits him big. The coat is nice and warm. Really liked the color on him.

I really paid attention to the girth measurement for sizing. Didn’t want to return it. But this large size fits perfectly on my 22 pound one year old beagle. She got used to it very quickly and it does not bother her at all. Belly band is stretchy, Velcro-attached and far enough forward to not interfere with potty time. I got this for our Christmas pictures as well as a coat for rain and snow. It will be perfect!

It fits my dog like a glove. So happy to buy something that looks good and fits well.Feels nice and warm, looks great, and she feels very comfortable in it.I have a small husky with alopecia - 37lbs (+/-) - I bought size L. It fits her really well.I'm buying another one (or two ).

my male frenchie weighs 38 pounds and has a broad chest..this has elastic at the chest and has velcro connections at the leg and chest...no wrestling with him to get it on... short enough on the belly so that he doesn't soil it when he finds a tree or fire pump... usually to fit his chest the sizing is too long for his body..this one fit nicely..size large

Photos are meat too show fabric (lack of) quality and color not the overall product, my apologies. Also, please note- my IPhone 13 camera (with factory settings) makes the color appear a deeper red than the naked eye sees. I can assure you the color appears slightly more faded and even orangey looking and NOT like it does in the photo when purchasing. Fabric reminds me of Christmas stocking’s or tree skirt’s from the dollar store that has a “tree” in its name. Not kidding. The windbreaker style side is in fact water resistant, but the threads (from the stylized quilting) take on water. Use your own judgement. Over all is very thin. Also as you can see, when reversed with the black side (water resistant side) is showing, you can also see the cheap red fabric trim. If I could hide the fabric underneath it wouldn’t be so bad, maybe. I’m needing to add some substantial warmth for my 9lb Maltese for traveling (hiking and RTT-roof top tenting) to North Carolina. She needs a little more than this. I feel like the price and quality are mismatched here. I wasn’t expecting top notch, but at least what I paid. Hope the up close photos of the fabric help everyone!Pros? The overall design with the elastic cinching underneath is nice and had the fabric been better this would have been great. *Size true to size chart-except length, which was longer but that was good. My Maltese has 15 inch chest, 10.25in neck, 13 in back from neck to base of tail). Length was perfect and size chart said 11.8 in.. it covered her whole back which is what I wanted. Would have preferred the neck to be 1 in tighter and chest 1.5-2in snugger. Couple that with the recommended sizing- sounds about right. *The only thing is her chest was dead in the middle for size small. And the cinching elastic wasn’t needing to stretch. You would have think this would have been slightly smaller and then the elastic would stretch to accommodate a little more- or a little less. If you order the correct size per the measurements, the elastic doesn’t have an actual function if that makes sense.

Just wanted to give a quick size review in case people are having trouble visualizing.We received the coat today. Photo attached. This is a size 3XL. Our dog is just under 80lbs and it fits perfectly.

We just got this today and it seems like it’s going to work out great. It’s light weight but seems warm. I’d say it’ll be good on my dog until -10 or so. I like how it has a collar, and the belly of it is the water resistant black material and not the fleecy red plaid so it won’t get soaking and dirty. Velcro is strong. I ordered a size up as recommended from the other reviews and it’s definitely a size too big, but it’s still fine. I almost ordered two sizes up but I’m glad I didn’t. My dog is 26” around her chest, 18” neck and 23” from base of neck to tail. I ordered her an XXL.

Very cute jacket. It keeps my dog very warm even in the freezing cold. We have a rescue dog, 70 lb lab. Ordered the coat before we picked up the pup. Ordered a 3XL because we heard she had a chubby midsection (that's why we didn't order a bikini lol) It is a bit too big for her but it will suffice.I have washed it and it held up well. It is easy to take on and off. The velcro is strong. It has a handy opening for a harness clip. I like the fact that it is reversible. She seems very comfortable wearing it and I daresay a bit proud!

I was pleasantly surprised when this jacket arrived given that it was so affordable. It is pretty well made, I love that it is reversible and waterproof on one side, I always use it waterproof side out, the touch of red plaid is so cute that way. It fits my little Maltese/Yorkie Mix perfectly the size charts seems pretty accurate, his chest is 16" and he weighs about 11-12 pounds so I got a Small, it is nice and stretchy around the tummy area and adjustable, pretty easy to get on once you get the hang of it. My favourite part is that his chest and stomach are nice and covered while still giving him enough room so that he can pee freely. Combined with booties I can take him on an hour long walk in snow and very cold weather -18°C with the windchill was no problem and he comes home warm and dry. Basically if I can handle the cold he can too. Can't say enough good things about this Jacket!
