Good descriptions and captions. A few obscure pictures

This was good. I remembered reading about the famous kidnapping as a young lady, then read this exact book to my children when they were younger, and just now I read it again. Quite tragic, and still not fully sure they got the right guy....

I must disclose in the interest of fairness that I am mentioned in the book under acknowledgements. Some may question my objectivity accordingly.Nevertheless, the book is a must have for people interested in the Lindbergh kidnapping. The pictures are fascinating and some have never been published before. No opinion is offered on the guilt or innocence of Hauptmann. It was a joy to read and absorb.

Lots of pictures, I was after more of the story, not in deep dive of history. But ok for a light read!!!!!

Buy this for the photos, not the writing. It's the perfect complement to any Lindbergh kidnapping book, especially Jim Fisher's "The Lindbergh Case" or Richard Cahill's "Hauptmann's Ladder." The pictures explain so much that is hard to visualize from reading text, however detailed it is. For example, the location where the baby's remains were found is quite different from what I pictured.

This book is an excellent addition to the library of an individual who is interested in the Lindburgh case. The pictures made the book even more interesting. Many of the things said in the book were not new to me but might be to someone else. I do reccomend this book.

Excellent book. Answered questions I've had for a long time. I feel that this book included material that others felt was not important but I feel is crucial to understanding the kidnapper. I'd have to say that in my view this solves the case!

I've read all the Lindbergh kidnapping books, and this one's one of the best. There are pictures of everyone and everything....all the locations, all the people involved, witnesses, the sleeping suit, the garage, you name it.
