Good Story
Steel and Breanna connect because of his daughter. She is assigned to his daughter as her social worker and their journey takes a lot of twist and turns that keeps you glued to the story to see how it ends. It is an intriguing MC romance with lots of drama. Chiah is a great writer in that she weaves a story that have you feeling like you are right there as it unfolds. The characters are intense and will have you in their corners.

A change
The characters were well rounded. Nice to see Navajo culture included. Steel was strong alpha yet caring for his child, Mother. The writer also shone the light on two topics drug abuse and the aftermath school bullies and how words affect others . Brianna shows how over worked case workers and clinic are. The writer does not beat reader over the head about drug abuse, instead the story Steel and Brianna share highlights how life goes on. How

An emotional Rollercoaster Ride with an Outlaw MCand their fight against drugs
This is an excellent sorry about Steel a half Navaho and Irish biker. He's the president of the Night Rebels M C. When he rushed into the hospital because his daughter had overdosed on heroin. When he later eyes on Breanna he asked her who she was and when she told him she was Chenoa's social worker he got mad. He didn't like anyone that had anything to do with government. She ignored his rudeness and told him she was there for his daughter not him. Breanna had a hatred for anyone in the mc world. He dad left her momwith four kids for the mc life and she thought all bikers were the same. Steel thought all government people were the same. Breanna left and let him spend time with his daughter. A few days later Steel stopped by the red to see his mom to tell her Chenoa was getting better an who was there but that same social worker. He wanted to know what the hell she was doing there. His mom told him to show some respect.Breanna was making his mom an omelette an asked him if he wanted one he said d no although it smelled good as his stomach growled Breanna made him one an set it in front of him. Steel doesn't knoiknoiw what it was about Breanna that got to him so much sure she was beautiful and had a smoking hot body but she could make him mad one minute and want to scrww her the next. Breanna was feeling things for Steel that she shouldn't she was attracted to him and knew she should stay away from him Do they act on the pull of sexual attraction or will they stay away from each other? Was she wrong about him the way he cared for his daughter and his mother he couldn't be all bad. This book looks into outlaws ways of life even a lot of bikers hate drugs. And even tough passed bikers want to find the right woman to have his back. This book deals with the powerful truths about addiction an the damage it does to the addict and their families. It shows the extreme lengths that some MC clubs will go too to pull a stop to it. This book has action, trauma and love, all in one amazing book. I loved every page of this book and can't wait to read more ofChiah Wilders books. I voluntarily decided to review this book because it is a great story and I wanted other readers to know about it.

Suspenseful with HEA, good start to a series
Steel is the first book in the Night Rebels MC series by Chiah Wilder. It was the second book I've read by this author.Steel was written in a dual POV, Steel and Breanna. It was entertaining with a suspenseful plot. I waffled between 3-4 stars and ultimately settled on a 3.5 rating, which rounds up to a 4 on this site.Steel was the sexy President of the Night Rebels MC. He was part Navajo and had a teenage daughter that he adored. Family and brotherhood were important.Breanna was the beautiful social worker that dedicated her life to helping others live a happy independent life. She had a rough childhood with a dead beat dad and a mother who barely survived life with a broken heart. Breanna was thrust into parenting herself and her siblings at an early age.Steel - there were parts I liked about him but also an equal number I disliked. For example, he flew off the handle easily with no real provocation then was completely rude and infantile. He then always blamed Breanna and she gave in too easily. It was more the interactions of an abused/abuser relationship then a forever love relationship. It wrapped up ok in the end, but at times it felt disconnected and forced to me.From the onset I was interested in the suspenseful plot of who was selling drugs to the local teens. It was a new trend in the area and one that would dominate the storyline as a secondary theme to the romance that was developing between Steel and Breanna. The mystery behind the drama was what held me captive and wanting more.Steel was a fairly quick read. It was written well and was a spin off from another series, which I had only read one book, Insurgents MC series. Although it wasn't necessary to have read the entire series to enjoy the book, I think it would have filled in some holes that were somewhat confusing. It was a tough subject to read at times since Wilder tackled the subject of drug addiction, the pull it had on the addicted, the affect it had on family, and the ultimate consequences that can occur. All in all, I enjoyed the book and look forward to continuing the series with Muerto's story.

Steel: ( Night Rebels MC - 1)
Wow! Almost certain have not read this author before, equally certain I'm glad I have the complete series of six books. It means I can start on book 2 as soon as I like, almost, I'd like to start now, but only just finished book 1 and it's 2.30 AM. Night Rebels Club is situated just outside of the Navajo reservation, Steel is half Navajo & Pres of the Night Rebels. His mother, plus his daughter & her mother live on the reservation. Someone is selling drugs in his territory, he's just found out his daughter was hooked on heroin, when she overdosed. He wants whoever is responsible, fast. Brianna is his daughters social worker, he hates social workers, Brianna hates MC clubs and the bikers in them. They both care deeply about young Chenoa....................Sue P

Fab.
Such a brilliant series that I have read many times. We start with Steel’s book and his story with Breanna is hot and certainly has drama and suspense. Couldn’t stop the tears with this book at parts of it.

Great start for the Night Rebels 5 *
Really promising start to the Night Rebels MC series. We have been introduced to Steel in a couple of the Insurgents books and know he is quite a fun loving womanizer who puts his club first but in this story he meets Breanna who is his 17 year old daughters case worker. As with all of the sexy alpha male bikers who came before him, Steel falls hard for Breanna but what would this story be without a little danger, drama and heartbreak with some steamy scenes as only Chiah can write them!?

Brilliant
I love that Steel managed to find his heart when he first encountered Breanna he didn't know how to take her thinking she was meddling in his life but something about her made him need to get to know her and have her in his life as I love the insurgents I'm really looking forward to seeing how the nights rebels find their own loves brilliant can't wait for the next one
