I own an HP Deskjet D4260, and I have to say that it's the best printer I've ever owned. I can't say exactly how many sheets of paper I go through, but I do a moderate amount of printing for things such as personal bill statements, my own business cards on glossy photo card stock, and other general paperwork. The HP 74/75 combo pack ink cartidges put out brilliant, lasting colors, as well as quality black print, and I also find that they last quite a bit of time. The last cartridges I purchased lasted me about 4 months! Not too bad, compared with some of the other printer models and ink cartridges I've purchased in the past...such as: Lexmark Z515, and 2 mid-priced Epson models. (Frankly, the Lexmark inks were among the worst, yet most expensive, I've ever come across! Stay away from those!! They end up costing you more than you paid for the printer!) The Epsons inks were good quality-wise, but I found that the cartridges dried up rather quickly and didn't last very long. Plus, the printers didn't last. My only complaint about the HP's is their software...It appears to use a lot of computer resource, and it's constantly popping up windows, whenever you use the printer, that tell you your ink levels, and that the "printer is ready", etc... It can sometimes be quite annoying. But I digress! This revue is supposed to be about the ink! Anyway...The HP 74/75 inks are great, and they are reasonably priced! Hope this info helps.

This is a great bargain. It doesn't leak, isn't difficult to align, pops right in and does what HP say it will do. That alone in my book is hard to beat. I buy spares. I have a granddaughter/artist who will one night when I am unaware take full color photos and print them out, consuming enormous quantities of ink and paper. Having a spare box tucked away is my security blanket. Buy a couple. The time you save trying to mop up the spills and leaks from these so called bargain refills that quit right in the middle of something you have to print is, alone, quite wort a higher price. My friends, there is no free lunch tomorrow. If you want the printer you bought to perform as advertised then buy a quality replacement ink cartridge and get on with the business of living that saved time!

This product works perfectly in my HP Photosmart C4580 printer--but so did cartridges refilled by Costco at half the price, until HP updated their software to detect refills and disable the printer. I am so angry with HP for their outrageous prices for ink and their draconion tactics that I have decided to never buy another HP product. Update (7/27/2013): I have now replaced my HP printer with a Brother MFC-J425W color printer, a very nice printer that works every time with no hassles, unlike all the HP color printers I have owned. The Brother printer cost about what two of these HP cartridge pack cost, and aftermarket ink, which works just fine, costs about one tenth of what HP charges (per page of print).

Many years ago I bought a laptop from Apple it came with a free printer I very rarely use the printer so it’s in excellent condition finding the ink however is not the easiest task I have tried using the cheaper versions of replace cartridge ink yeah none of those work this is the only brand that works with my printer so I would definitely recommend it and I am very happy every time I purchase the XL in both black and in color

I recently hooked-up a new hp printer & used this combo pack as required. Thus far, I have printed several pages as I continue to do so & have not run dry yet. I never had a problem ordering hp Ink from Amazon for both of my printers, which require different numbers for the Ink Cartridges. The black & the multi-colored ink is bright. I always worry about the black Ink fading quickly, but have not had that problem when ordering on Amazon. However, through the years, I've purchased the same hp Ink in different stores & not only did it cost much more, but the Ink ran dry quickly. I am grateful that I have not experienced such disappointment, after ordering on Amazon. My only regret is not doing this soon enough, but lesson learned. Highly recommended!

Easy replacement in the printer. I won't complain about the cost, though I could. That's how the HP money-maker makes money, but 'always nice to have its easy recognition by the printer.

Do yourself a favor, buy a newer printer. You’ll be satisfied that you did.

This actually came in very fast, price was good and quality was good, still using this, hasn't dried out so it was good purchase I'd make again. Transaction was easy!

Review is mostly for the seller, as I always have known HP ink to be great for my printing needs. Turns out though, the colour cartridge was defective and wouldn't print cyan. I wasn't sure if I needed to contact the Amazon seller or HP, so I tried the seller first. They'll be sending me a new one! Amazing! Will update once it's in and I've got it installed! Thanks! Update: Second pack with the colour cartridge works great!
