Will it lay flat in a curved transition?

Don't know the answer. I returned the item, because it did not work for my project.

Can I paint this to match the painted brick steps I have?

I doubt if you can paint it...very rubbery. But I've not tried to paint it..... Good luck. I was not very happy with the adhesion of this product.... gb

Is it easy to remove once placed?

The carpet floor transition strip with strong self adhesive. It will not fall off easily once installed.

Any chance the adhesive would work well on carpet? Our tile is higher than our carpet in transition.
