Can you make a shampoo with this base?

I have not tried to make shampoo out of this base, but I can say that I would like to try and believe that you can because when mixed with Vit E, Fractionated Coconut Oil and fragrance oil for body wash the PH balance seem to remain within normal range.

What type of oils can I add?

You can add any type of oil you like, although it doesn't need any carrier oils added, I add fragrance and or essential oil to mine, but when you add fragrance or essential oil, it may cause the shampoo to thin, then you can add a thickener like xanthum gum, which is what I use.

Can you add mica to this so it will suspend or no it'll just sit on top?

I have never added mica, but if it is powdered color mica, it should mix in well.
