Freeze Dried Cat Treats Grain Free Original 1.25oz Bag

These ORIJEN freeze-dried treats have become a favorite in our house. My cats absolutely love them and come running as soon as they see the bag. I like the simple, high-quality ingredients, and the small pieces are easy to give as an everyday treat or reward. They are also convenient and not messy. A little bag goes a long way, and most importantly, my cats are always excited to get them. Definitely a repeat purchase for us.

Our kitten absolutely loves these treats!! So far his food and treats are both Orijen brand and we have never had an issue, he loves both!

My cat loves these. He had some of his molars removed so harsh treats hurt his gums. These sort of melt in his mouth and I think that's why he really enjoys these.

Well, I like that at least one of my cats enjoys this cat treat recipe. However, only two out of the four of my kit cat Mafiosas were interested in trying this recipe. One of the kit cats that tried this recipe is considered to be my wild child, cat gal and she usually likes any treat in front of her, lol. My other kit cat that was willing to try this recipe, is somewhat picky but she would not eat this recipe after her initial trial. The other two of the kit cats are extremely picky, and they sniffed and it was a no go. No fear though, I plan to try the other cat treat recipes that are available through this seller. I think that there is an adequate amount of treats in this bag size- I tend to give my gals treats once or twice per day though so the treats tend to last longer. I decided to store these treats in my pantry instead of in the freezer. Price wise, I think is fine because we get what we pay for, and a higher quality product will cost more, is what it is. My cats have been fans of Orijen Freeze Dried treats for a while. A few years ago, my oldest was ill and afterwards her sense of smell was different. Not gone, but not as sharp. She refused to eat, even the smelliest of tinned fish or her favorites (sounds weird but turkey baby food). She’s an adult cat who weighs 4lbs. She’s eensy weensy and cannot afford to lose an ounce. But, she was in trouble. Orijen saved her life. No joke. I used it to attract her to her food and ever since, she looks for it as a food topper— either a crumble (on days when her smeller is really not working), or just one treat ontop like a cherry on a sundae. I’ve had these treats on a monthly subscription for some time. But, last month, she refused to touch them. If I didn’t have a back-up to improvise a crumble for her, (another brand I used as treats on occasion), she would again be off her food. I thought— it was a one off. My other cat didn’t have a problem, even though the treats smell different to me. Sort of old and it reminds me of the smell of vitamin E. Totally unlike the usual smell of these treats. Then the next subscription came— and the same thing. Same smell. The other kitty doesn’t have any problems. But, I don’t feel confident in Orijen any longer. They’ve done something different. The last batch that smelled normal had an earlier manufacture and expiration dates than this off-smelling batch. So I can’t really say that Amazon is selling old stock…But, while searching for those other treats, I found a bag with the dusty remnants of Orijen from ages ago— well beyond the expiration date, so not something I felt ok giving my cats. But, the smell was normal, what I would normally expect from a bag of Orijen treats. So something is definitely off about their new batches. So much so that I’ve cancelled all subscriptions & they’ve lost this customer. (And I usually use 2 bags of these suckers every month. )

My cat really loves these treats and especially the original flavour. It is the only food I can bribe him with. Besides that it appears to be made of good ingriedients and does not contain grains. Probably why he finds them so tasty. I have been buying these for 2 years and would absolutely recommend.

Mais il faut le mériter! Et vu qu’il est en pleine adolescence, il n’en a pas aussi souvent qu’il voudrait... ce qui m’arrange, parce que c’est assez dispendieux!
