I bought this swim vest for my 2.5-year-old daughter. The quality is decent and the price is very reasonable. At first, she completely refused to wear it and wanted to stick to her regular swim ring. But on our third trip to the pool, she saw other kids wearing it, changed her mind, and asked to put it on. Once she had it on, she figured out how to swim with it almost instantly! She was splashing around and had a great time moving around by herself. The packaging states it is for ages 3 to 6, so it is definitely a little loose on a 2.5-year-old. To fix this, we tried putting it on her backwards (with the back part facing the front), and that actually helped give her a much better, snugger fit. She loves swimming in it now. Of course, since it's a bit big, we still stay right behind her just to be safe. Overall, it's a solid product for the price!

More importantly, it has been comfortable and easy for her to move around in. She’s a very active swimmer, and this vest doesn’t seem to restrict her movement at all. The buckle is secure and stays fastened, but it’s still easy for an adult to put on and take off. We’ve also never had any issues with rubbing or chafing. After more than a year of regular use, the foam is still in great shape and provides the same support it did when we first bought it. The colors have faded a little from sun and pool use, but that’s purely cosmetic and hasn’t affected performance at all. It keeps her comfortably upright in the water and gives me extra peace of mind when I’m supervising from the side of the pool instead of being in the water with her. Of course, it’s not a substitute for active supervision, but it’s been a great additional layer of safety. The fact that we purchased this product twice says everything.
