Works well. I did not know you had to use AAA batteries. My old one was rechargeable and worked well until I lost it. I had the first device for over 2 years with minimal issues. This is a replacement. I have been using it a couple hours every other day and have experienced some lost connection issues, but it was easy to reestablish the connection. I have had it for about 1 month. I will update the review if it stops working later.

It look just like it does in the photo. It’s about palm size. It has a long battery life. It connects right away. It’s worth the price. The only thing with this catcher was that I mistakenly dropped it but I like it so much I immediately brought another one.

When I first received this auto-catcher, I was excited to have something that took batteries that lasted a fair amount of time and controls within the Pokemon Go game, itself. I accidentally dropped the device from about knee height, and the battery cover popped off. I never could reattach the battery cover, and the device no longer worked at all. It was a total waste to buy something in this price range, for a game that requires a fair amount of activity, to not have any kind of ability to survive a very small drop. Updated 04/26/2023 - after my review, the manufacturer contacted me to learn where my issue was with the Dual Catcher. They advised that they would pass my comments on to the design team to make improvements. A few days later, I received a newer version of the Dual Catcher, to replace the one that broke. Poke Daxi had a review of the Dual Catcher, stating it was the best of the auto catchers. I commented about my battery door issue, and Poke Daxi immediately stated that I obviously did not follow directions to put the provided sleeve on the auto catchers. He uses this auto catcher, drops it all the time, and it is still working great. I now have the provided sleeve on my new auto catcher, although I plan to be more careful with it! The customer service to resolve my issue was great, and unexpected.

I got a duomon recently when I activated a second account, and I'm impressed. I was using a gotcha ranger before. The duomon is a lot better. It's much more reliable, it stays connected for an hour. If it looses connection it gives you an audible notification. The gotcha would drop out randomly, and no notification. The gotcha would rarely spin a pokestop over 20mph, the duomon will do it at highway speeds. Plus, it does 2 accounts at the same time. Audio voice notifications are a bit quiet, hard to hear in a car. It does use male for one account and female for the other. It notifies about bag full, pokemon storage full, lost connection, anything that's keeping it from doing it's job, and occasionally brags about how many pokemon it's caught and stops it's spun. The gotcha would frequently change it's options settings randomly. The duomon hasn't ever done that. Setting the duomon is a little confusing, it goes by color of the indicator lights as to which option you're setting, so keep the quick reference card handy if you expect to change options. The one I change a lot is turning voice notifications off when I'm in a quiet place. I've had the batteries pop out in my pocket, so that's something to watch for.

I had this for a week and a half and LOVED it!! It worked great! I ignored all of the reviews that mentioned how they broke when dropped. I figured I would put the silicone cover on it and that would protect it. Today I dropped my keys with the duomon attached to them. The battery door flew open and a small piece snapped off so now I cannot use it at all! I tried to close it up so I can still use it but it’s no use. That’s A LOT of money wasted when I used the intended silicone skin to protect it. This needs a redesign. The slit in the silicone skin leaves the battery door exposed and vulnerable to drops. If it wasn’t so expensive I would get another. So disappointed 😭😭

This Autocatcher works really well. I have not had a problem with connections, other than the built-in timeout feature on all autocatchers. It stays connected to one or two phones at a time. Connection time is short and battery life is long. It is great that it takes AAA batteries, which allows me to keep playing without recharge. The low battery life indicator on the game is good to let me know when to get the next set of batteries ready. Most of the time I just use the 'Auto-spin' feature to harvest resources while I am driving. I am definitely able to keep my inventory of Great and Utra balls high. With this device, Passengers are able to interact with poke-stops and gyms while traveling in a car. Without the device, it would be "Too Fast" and not allowed. The battery door is a little tricky but being gentle and paying attention to the battery polarity markers make it easy. Using the silicone cover and keeping it on a lanyard definitely improve the durability of the device and keep wear and tear to a minimum. The only "problem" I have with using this device is that it my bags are almost always full from Auto-catch and Auto-spin. I have to set time asside to do "housekeeping" to keep my inventory levels low enough to harvest more goodies!

Worked wonderfully initially but the on/off button broke after one week of use. I used the provided silicon case and used a round headphone case to further protect it. I was ok with going through batteries faster but now just a little over a month later it has completely stopped working. Disappointed since I thought with proper protection it would last longer.

I watched the Pokedaxi video and knew I had to try it out. I was hesitant at first because $90 is a lot to spend on a device for Pokémon, but I can honestly say it upped my Shiny count big time! I went from having 2 trash shiny Pokemon, to 57 after deleting a ton of trash ones. This this is a blessing on community days, and overall makes playing Pokémon Go more fun. It continually catches Pokémon and spins stops as I’m raiding, battling, and catching other Pokémon. It’s perfect for if you’re driving or riding a bike and can’t focus on playing the game. You will definitely want to expand your inventory, and Pokémon storage because the Duomon will fill them both up quickly. It’s great for getting more stardust and XP as well. Lasts several days on 2 AAA batteries $90 is a bit high but I’m very happy with mine. 5/5

There’s nothing to dislike about the product. The product is fantastic. It’s easy to use and it works on both phones, android and iOS. How do I use it for Pokémon hunting? What else would you use it for?

This autocatcher is so good I think it might be technically cheating. The auto catching part isn’t really that great BUT it did catch me 2 diddos literally the FIRST time I turned it on. The most INSANE part of this device is the auto pokestop spinner. It will spin everything, gyms and rocket stops, and will do it instantly and HAS NO SPEED LIMIT CAP. It also gives you additional range for spinning stops, so you can LITERALLY turn this on before you drive, and it will spin EVERY STOP when ur going 60km+. I’ve used both catching and spinning at the same time, and it literally completed 30+ research tasks for me in my pocket. Battery life also REALLY good too, but haven’t tried it in the cold weather yet. Cons: -If you have the autocatcher on with the stop spinner, it will only do one at a time and you will miss a ton of stops. -ALOT of Pokémon flee using the auto catcher -sometimes it will tell you your bag is full when it’s not and not spin stops (if you manually spin a stop it will temporarily fix it for a bit) - some reviews say it’s feels cheap/fragile which is true, but it comes with a plastic sleeve that protects it REALLY well - probably the biggest con, there’s a voice that tells you when your bag is full or if your out of pokeballs etc, and I’ve tried everything to turn it off but I can’t. So sometimes people hear it and I sound like a nerd kek OVERALL INSANE DEVICE. I thought $110 was a lot for a device but I have honestly gotten easily that $ back in items. I see why top players use one because I cannot ever go back to having no gifts or items.

Very happy with this device. Compared to the other auto catching units, this device is a bit larger, it responds faster and can be turned off and on. I mostly use it while I'm driving, the sound effects can be pretty annoying but thankfully you can disable them. As the unit is dual device you can use it on your alt accounts at the same time. Good buy.
