Great quality
This is not the cheapest product...however you get what you pay for. The pages reaming a "block" until you wish to separate the pages. This means no "warping." Neat size and the water remains where you place. Colours remain true. Would buy again.

I love using this card, it’s absorbs beautifully, it doesn’t bleed. I’m new to water colour and I’m sure I have a lot to still learn

Not bad but not brilliant
I'm not an artist myself so I asked my mother-in-law to try this water paper and she tells me that her it's okay but that it's not a top-quality premium product.Of course in fairness it's probably not as expensive as a premium product so depending on your needs this may well be suitable. She prefers the papers she's more used to from branded names so she's not using this any more after doing a few test Paintings on it

Amazingly good.
I thought my favouite Bockingford paper was good until I found this 100% cotton paper. My Winsor & Newton kolinsky sable brushes, my professional W & N paints were made for this paper. It's a dream to work with and is every bit as good as Arches paper. For serious artists, I cant recommend it highly enough. If you are setting out on your watercolour painting journey as I am, then I believe in starting with the best one can afford. It holds the paint, you don't get that matt finish as with cheaper paper, it's great for wet on wet and lifting out. I bought the largest size 12" x 16" so if I want to do smaller paintings I can just use half a sheet. Can you tell that this is the paper I will be using all of the time?.

Really Lovely Paper
I love this watercolour paper having just used it for the first time. Nice texture, holds water well and is robust enough for scrubbing and lifting out. The price is excellent for such a good quality paper, and best of all for me is that it is vegan. I have been searching for a high quality paper that doesn’t use animal gelatine as sizing, and I have found it!. ZenArt is a lovely friendly company whose customer services are excellent. I would recommend highly.

Sturdy Paper, Great for Layering Paint
While I have used quite a bit of watercolor products, I have never splurged on cotton-based papers, even though it is highly recommended in artist communities. I was quite excited to try a higher grade of paper. I will admit, that I do not have much experience with cotton-based papers, as I have only played with watercolor pads so take my review with a grain of salt.Binding: I’m only noting this because this is a bit unique to what I have seen from other paper pads. The papers are basically glued together on the left and right sides, instead of on the top. I was a bit alarmed to discover this and thought this was a weird design choice. Binding the paper like this forces the artist to have to peel the paper off after you are done painting. This strange form of binding transforms the pad into a thick canvas until you remove the paper when you are finished painting. The binding actually makes painting on the pads quite comfortable. I like how it doesn’t feel flimsy when I put it on my lap. I don’t feel the need to grab a book or lap desk, while I paint which is what I usually have to do with most paper pads in general. Paper: The paper is about the same thickness as other watercolor pads, although it does feel a bit heftier than my current watercolor paper (Canson Watercolor). The texture is reminiscent of a canvas. There’s a bit of a woven texture when you run your fingers across the paper. I have never painted on cotton-based paper, and I was pleasantly surprised to see how smooth it was to paint on as I assumed it would look more textured.Mixed Media: Watercolor runs smoothly on the surface, color pencils look nice, and markers don’t bleed and look smooth. This paper could definitely be utilized for other purposes outside of watercolor.Water Test: Whenever I try new watercolor paper, I always like to see how the paper holds up against the water. For this test, I ripped a piece of paper and drenched it in water to see how the paper performed against water. I tend to use mixed media and watercolor paper, and they tend to curl up after a couple of layers of paint and water. It’s very frustrating, especially since my finished painting is always warped. This paper held up fairly well. There is a very slight bit of curving, but it was very minimal in comparison to non-cotton-based paper. I’m sure if the paper was a higher weight/gsm would be almost indistinguishable from the dry paper. I was impressed that it held its shape, and didn’t immediately curl up. The cotton fibers seem to perform well against water. But based on this experience I would definitely try more arch/cotton-based papers. The difference in the painting experience is like night and day. I’ve always been a bit impatient waiting in between layers and liked to paint on top of the paint as soon as possible. This paper allowed me to layer as many paints as I wanted. There was very minimal warping, as opposed to my regular experience working with watercolor pads where I would start to see the paper curl, and need to use washi tape to hold it down. Other watercolor papers I have tried, would tend to warp with all the layers I added. Using this arch paper there was no warping, at least for the regular painting I did. I also did not feel like I needed to wait in between time for the paint to dry.Overall: I’ve tried a handful of products from Zen Art Supplies (Prezio, Allegro) and so far I have been quite impressed. The quality of the watercolor supplies has been fantastic. Everything I have tried has been well made and is a great array of solid art supplies. They work well! Although I will admit, some of the items at retail price seem a bit pricy in comparison to other brands. When I purchased my palettes they were all discounted, and I felt like those palettes were worth that price. For this watercolor pad, the price point is about what I expected for this paper quality, as cheaper arch papers tend to only include a few sheets or are a lot smaller in size. I think it’s worth its price. I will definitely continue to purchase from the brand in the future.

Good Quality
I believe it to be of good quality, only two small issues with it. 1) it's tends to tear a little too easily when removing from the block, I would recommend not using a palette knife instead use a bone tool that is for folding or creasing paper, 2) it is thirsty, more so than what I am used to, making a wet on wet a little more difficult also lifting paint. The key phase "what I am used to", and now knowing these traits beforehand I my be able to use these traits to my advantage, at the very least minimize these issues.
