Wii to HDMI Converter Output Video Audio Adapter, with 3.5mm Audio Video Output Supports All Wii Display Modes, Best Compatibility and Stability for Nintendo (Wii to HDMI Adapter)

I purchased one of these Wii adapters back in March of 2013, and it recently failed when the kids had their friends over. I paid over $20 at the time, but at the new price that I paid for this item ($6), I can deal with replacing these once every few years. I needed this because my TV doesn't have component inputs, and it seems to deliver similar resolution as the original component cables. You will need a separate HDMI cable as this device does not come with one. Seems to work fine, and the kids can use the Wii again. I chose the least expensive seller, as they all look to be the same.

It really make a improvement, It look better visually when using a LED TV with 1080p resolution. (I have a 48 inches Smart-TV)I have used the normal video cable (composite) It look horrible, then bought the composite and used for a time and look great. Then used this interface (Converter) and the colors and brightness looks better than composite, but the improvement is not as big as comparing with the normal cable.I recommend used HDMI converter because the image fit the screen better for this resolution 1080p, but the component looks great at all but do not fit the screen as well than this converter.

I did not know this existed. My Wii has been sitting in the closet for years and now that I have a grandson I wanted to get hook it up and realized it is not HDMI so I went to Amazon to get an RCA to HDMI converter and this popped up in my search, actually there were many so I grabbed this one as it had good reviews. It came in two days with Prime and I plugged it right in and works great.

Our smart tv did not have composite video inputs so we were unable to hook up the Nintendo WII. I purchased this adaptor to connect a HDMI cable from the WII to the smart tv. It worked perfectly as claimed and was easy to install. Definitely boosted the picture quality from composite video inputs on our other previously used tv.

I was concerned when purchasing this converter that it would not be recognized by my so called LG smart TV. Fortunately it was NOT an issue. Picture quality and sound is really good with this converter. No lines on the screen or anything like that. My only complaint is a small one. When converter and a HDMI cable are connected to the Wii it leaves about 5" of cable and converter hanging out of the back of my Wii. This causes me to NOT be able to fit my Wii on the shelf below my TV. I have to sit my Wii sideways so that it would fit my shelf. Would have been nice to see the converter have a 90 degree angle on the Wii side of the converter, so it would not stick out as much. Also When an HDMI cable is connected to converter it tends to make it sag and put pressure on the converter itself and the A/V connection on back of Wii. I recommend putting something under the converter to prop it up and not let it sag and possibly bend connections that do not like to bend.

I recently replaced my receiver with one that could switch HDMI and needed a way to hook up my Wii to it. Upon use, this little device does exactly what I need. The picture quality looks the same as my previous hookup using s-video. We will have to see how this unit holds up in the long run, but so far I am very pleased with my purchase.

This looks like the perfect product, and was easy to connect. Unfortunately, my new TCL TV only recognized the signal from my Wii for about one second. I'm returning it for a replacement, and hope the new one works.[Two days later:] Got the replacement promptly, and it worked briefly when I connected it yesterday. Today, showed up defectively for a few seconds, then it failed, too. I noticed it was hot when I unplugged it today. This time I'll return it for a refund.

No drama. Plugged adapter into back of Wii. Connected adapter to 4K TCL TV using old HDMI cable. Started playing the Wii. Simple.Picture looks good, considering 480p signal being up scaled to 4K tv. Displays as old style 4:3 (square), not 16:9 (widescreen) format.New life for Wii console for cheap money. Would recommend to anyone with old Wii.
