I actually bought these to hold cakes of yarn so they wouldn’t fold in on themselves as I used them. Works great and since they are reusable a few times I have enough to last for years.

Good quality in nylon socks. I use these for crafts. I fill them with pellets for stuffed toys. The thickness and weight of them is perfect for this use.

Great for trying new shoes

As many have noted, there are a number of uses for these. I do not like washing the usual brand name ankle high hose because it is a pain. You wear them and one gets a ladder, one doesn't, or they roll into a ball when oyu take them off or get lost in the wash. I used to be able to get 20 pairs for $8 or so so the price wasn't too crippling to make them a one-and-done. So I figured I would try these as a more cost effective solution; I was only wearing them once so... These would be perfect except for one, small problem. The pros - they are a not too flimsy and come up to the ankle (I am a size 8.5 womens shoe size). BUT.... the seam along the toe line is similar to a badly healed scar - bulky and, if the shoe fits too snugly, burrows into your toe. While these are nice enough, I think I'll go back to the old standby and just deal with the cost.

I’m using these to make hacky sacks so that the filling stays in place and they are of great quality for the price.
