Choisya x dewitteana 'Goldfingers' Mexican Orange Blossom Hardy Shrub Spring and Summer Flowering Garden Plants Grow Your Own 2 x 3.6 Litre Pots Choisya 'Goldfingers' by Thompson and Morgan

Description

Add easy to grow, reliable colour to your garden with Choisya x dewitteana 'Goldfingers’! This evergreen shrub produces bushy yellow foliage for year round interest, joined in spring by a wonderful floral display of fragrant white blooms; you can also enjoy a second flush of flowers in summer! This Choisya is tolerant of a range of conditions, meaning you can even grow it in trickier coastal locations. For the more vibrant display, position in a sunny spot. Plant Mexican Orange Blossom in any well drained soil in full sun, with shelter from strong winds. Partial shade is tolerated but foliage will be less golden in this situation. Alternatively grow Choisya in patio containers filled with loam-based compost such as John Innes No.3. Water regularly throughout the growing season until Choisya plants are well established. Mexican Orange Blossom requires little attention, but benefits from a trim each year to keep it neat and tidy. After flowering, trim or lightly cut back shoots to a healthy pair of buds. Apply a mulch of well rotted manure or compost around the base of the plant in spring.
