Sufficiently sturdy to arrve undamaged when packaged, wrapped in black plastic, merely in an Amazon cardboard sleeve without padding.Accommodated 3 CDs and a fairly thick booklet, to replace a box set that seller of the original set had packed atrociously. Yes, a bit pricey, but well made.
