Gildan Platinum Men's Briefs, Black/Sport Grey/Charcoal, X-Large, 6-Pack

I love Gildan products! and have bought various items in the Gildan line for years from Amazon and others.I was surprised they make briefs. So I took a chance and bought the 6 pack of regular Gildan briefs (thin yet cool for summer) and these for a comparison for what to buy in the future. Much research over the years in Gildan has shown they have a variety of cotton or blend levels in tee shirts etc. All good stuff , some higher quality or grade than others. After comparing both purchases these briefs are higher quality than standard Gildan briefs. Quality,feel,fit.

This underwear is VERY COMFORTABLE. I highly recommend it. It's better quality cotton than the normal Gildan undies. I have a 34" waist. The size chart says that I should have ordered a MEDIUM, but I actually ordered X-LARGE and they are perfect!! If you have very large low hanging fruit like I do, I recommend buying 2 sizes larger than what the size chart says, as cotton shrinks in the clothes dryer. I'm always uncomfortable and re-arranging my "stuff" if I'm wearing underwear where the pouch is too small. These briefs provide the support that I require. Thanks, Gildan! :)

After searching for new options in underwear for men, I decided to give Gildan a try. I've been really pleased with the comfortable fit, material softness, and of course keeping the boys safe and warm. I highly recommend this product.

There is a little less room in the package area,,, but other than that the seams are a little more substantial allowing for better wicking and strength. Been using hanes and they have really cheeped out they loose their shape really early in the day and feels like im rolling around in a parachute with to many big holes without any structure... These are much better! If u are over hanes and fruit of the loom lowering their quality and want some decent qualoty underware like they used to b i think if u try these you will b satisfied with the quality... Been using these now for a while and still much better than the brands i was used to.

These briefs look sharp and feel very comfortable overall. They are made with a very light, breathable material with a comfy waistband and accommodating leg openings.The only negative I can see so far is that they are just slightly more snug than I'd like - especially on my man parts. Not enough to be uncomfortable, but noticeably more than any others I've worn. If you are at the upper end of a given size, I'd buy the next size up.

these fit great and stay where they should. good comfort, have and will buy again. I'll never go back to fruit or hanes.

I have no idea why companies cannot keep to industry standards. When you order something that says xl, then you expect the product to fit as expected, no matter the brand. I ordered xl, which would have and should have been a little loose, but these are tighter than the briefs I bought these to replace. Also for the price you pay for these I would have expected a heavier material to be used. This is my first and last order for this brand, not just this product.For a basic brief these seem to be good, thus why I was generous and gave these 3 stars. For a premium brief I expected better.

good quality for what it was intended for

very comfortable elderly style, didn't feel difference after wash, but not good for very hot and humid summer days, doesn't feel like the material is 100% cotton.
