Simple Upgrade to Add a Handheld Shower Option
I installed this brass shower arm diverter valve to add a handheld shower head alongside my existing fixed shower head, and it worked exactly as expected. It connects right between the shower arm and shower head, so installation was quick and didn’t require any major plumbing work. The solid brass construction gives it a sturdy feel, and these types of diverters are designed to last longer and resist leaks compared to plastic versions. The 3-way function is very convenient you can switch between the main shower head, the handheld, or use both at the same time. Just keep in mind that when using both, the water pressure is split between them. The control lever turns smoothly and makes it easy to switch settings during a shower. Just what we needed to attach a sprayer to the boys shower head for easier cleaning. Works great and would buy again.

It works great!
There's not much to talk about here since it's a simple valve, but fit and finish is very good. Operation is smooth and you can mix output to have some shower and some spray wand which was not really expected. The box comes with a few extra seals and a roll of teflon tape. If you have a short partner make sure they can reach high enough to operate the valve.
