Smoothing Creamy but aBit Doicy.
I love the taste of the Old Bay formulation, but it's a bit spicy and not for everyone. I fi do it creamy and generally well done but I donocassionaly add a can of class if I'm feeling for a more hearty meal.

Clam chowder with old bay seasoning
I really enjoyed this. Just the right amount of old bay seasoning. Big can. Enough for two to share. I will be ordering again.

I grew up in Maryland eating Chesapeake Bay Blue Crabs; so....
I knew what to expect when I ordered this chowder. Old Bay is a powerful spice. They virtually cover the crabs in Old Bay when the boil or steam them. A "gracious plenty" is great with crabs, and I really like Old Bay...been eating it since the early 60's, but this chowder has too much of it, for my tastes. That said, I hate to rate food at all. It comes down to a matter of taste. I will order it again. The overabundance of Old Bay does not disqualify it from being a good bowl of soup. Lots of clams and potatoes. I'll order it again.

If you love old bay this is for you
I didn't like the flavor. I've never had old bay seasoning before but I'm guessing that's what was off for me. Campbell's other clam chowders are excellent. I always have at least one in the pantry. This was the same good quality, just with a different spice.

The soup ends up being less than the sum of its parts. Not particularly OB flavored nor enough to make it demonstrably preferrable to standard canned chowder. I found the darker color a bit off-putting also. Won't order again. Sticking to regular NECC

NOT CHUNKY AT ALL...MORE LIKE WATER
Honestly don't know how it got good reviews. I just opened this can and it was horrible. It had nothing in it but just liquid and the picture. I'll show you the picture it's ridiculous. It looks all chunky and beautiful like clam. Chowder that you get down at the docks and San Francisco. Nope nope nope, this was disgusting. I had to add like 3 or 4 potatoes to it. And then I had to add a can of clams to baby clams. It cost me as much as going to a freaking restaurant to order a bowl of soup. I shouldn't just want to a restaurant. I'm so angry I will never get this again. I thought maybe it's a fluke or something. But it's such an expensive soup. I don't even wanna buy it again to find out.
