Was exactly what I was looking for.
I already have natural lighter blond hair. The layers vary from levels 9.5 to about 8.The underneath is about an 8. I wanted to lighten it up by about one level. I use pastel dyes sometimes and the underneath ends up not taking as much as I'd like. Ends up more like toner than anything. Now, I did a lot of research on what products I could use. I opted for this after much consideration. I also used wella color touch 1.9%/6vol developer for two reasons:1. I already had it on hand for some other dyes I used in the past. (Instamatic pink dream from wella. It was a beautiful color!)2. I only needed a little bit of lift and knew the 6 vol would be a slower/ more gentle process.I tested it out on one strip to see exactly how it would look and how long I'd need to wait. (Aprox. 10-15 minutes tops).I also used foil to keep it from drying out to fast, small sections to be sure it's thoroughly saturated, a scale to be sure of proportions, and didn't use it on my roots, other than by my front hairline that could be seen.If you're thinking of bleaching your hair definitely look up how to do it before hand. If you want to be sure you're not overprocessing it, nor missing spots due or you'll end up patchy.

best bleach - from dark brown to platinum
I used this product with the koleston developer to take my hair from a level 2 brunette down to platinum.I have thick and very coarse hair. I did the process over two days, four bleachings with level 30 developer for about 35 minutes each.Prior to each bleaching, at least an hour before, I saturated my hair with coconut oil.I have no damage. I did not need to trim one hair and I am completely blown away with how excellent this product is.The multi blonde left my hair with a lot of shading, really a beautiful color - no brassiness no bright yellow toning. It's that good. Once I was down to the palest I toned to platinum, but the blonde it left me with was gorgeous.I have been turned down by several salons who felt my hair was to thick and dark to go this light. I have tried the other popular brand, that comes in a tub with the blue on it only to have my hair breaking at the fluorescent orange stage.More points...it really is dust free, it mixes great and it's not an overpowering scent of bleach at all. The container is nice with a flip top lid. It's a very blue color to counteract the brass and orange tones. With the coconut oil on my hair it spread super easy. It did not get hot on my head but it also did not dry out. It works really fast so check often. Lastly you get a nice amount in the container.Wella is on point with this stuff. I'm going to try the cool blonde one next but honestly this stuff is awesome. I imagine if you're a lighter shade then I it would be amazingly quick. For all those girls dreaming of blonde, this is your ticket.

Best bleach
I have Medium/dark brown hair and use this bleach to add blond balayage highlights. Some bleaches give me trouble with warm tones, some leave my hair more dry, etc. This is one of the better bleaches out there. This mixes up blue, which is reassuring for those of us whole battle orange. I mix this with 30v developer and Olaplex, tease my hair, paint some pieces, weave some pieces, and wrap them up in foils. I might apply heat for the last few minutes, but this combo gets my medium to dark brown hair to pale yellow in an hour with no damage. When I use cheap bleach, my hair will get stuck at this awful neon orange stage. I watch my foils like a hawk and the orange stage with this does not seem like it gets as bright as it does with cheap bleach. When I get it to yellow, it leans sort of cool.Hair always looks a little brighter and warmer when first bleached and I used to do a Gloss immediately after bleaching (redken shades eq 9v), and every few weeks thereafter. The last couple of times, i just left it alone other than a quick purple shampoo. It fades into a perfect shade of sunny blond for me and I am not having to constantly battle brass with dyes and shampoos (an effect of getting my hair to the right level instead of stuck at orange).I will probably never try another bleach since this works so well. I have also used it without the Olaplex and can definitely say that this bleach is more gentle than most. Would highly recommend.

Even Tones, Great Blonde Shading, Easy to Use
I'm honestly surprised at the results- it lifted really well, used 20 developer, the blonde color was natural and lovely, very even. I followed up with T28 Natural Blonde toner and had better results than most of my salon visits over the past 20 years. I used a container and brush to mix and apply to roots, using 2 mirrors to see the back. Time to do it again this week, going to try a few highlights as well.Cost-wise, I have long hair and think I can get 3-5 uses out of this size container. Paired with the developer and toner, it's about 10% of what it cost to have it professionally done, and I prefer this color. I tried box colors before this for some DIY and they don't lift well or enough and are very harsh on the hair. Also, you still have to add toner and it doesn't do much, the toner has a much better result when used with just bleaching powder like this.

Has worked well over two years of regular use
We're not supposed to bleach our hair at home. Given. But if you're going to do it, this bleach strikes me as a good way to go. Over two years of regular use it's reliably bleached my very dark hair to a shade that makes bright-colored dyes look good, without frying my hair or my scalp. This is a higher-end bleach, but I consider it worth the extra money. The total cost of bleaching and coloring at home is still a tiny fraction of what I'd pay for salon services. For those who are interested, this bleach works well on hair drenched in coconut oil. I use it with sensitive scalp formula developer and an Olaplex-type additive, both from Sally Beauty. Be careful when measuring the bleach and mixing it into the developer--the fine powder flies everywhere if you aren't slow and deliberate in your movements. And stick to the time limit.Happy bleaching...
