Maymom Tubing Kit for Freemie Cups to Connect to Spectra S1, S2/Avent/Ameda Pumps

If you are hacking your spectra breast pump to use medela parts, you definitely need these. They do get lost quite easily so I'd recommend getting a few as backup.

I purchased these for my freemie independence and they do not stay when inserted.

I got this to go with the freemie collection cups so that it would work with my spectra pump. It does what it is supposed to however, I bought this on Amazon because I needed it in a hurry. When you compare it to the manufacturer website, it doesn’t have a key piece in the set the maker offers (the T connector) and that was a little disappointing since now I have to use both hoses with my pump and it’s a little extra work when I already have so much to do.

LOVE!! Wish I would have had months ago and with my first!!!!Look for the tubing that goes with your pump. I use with medela freestyle but you need to get the proper tubing. Will never go back to medela flanges!!! This is so much more gentle!! No bending in use, milk will get into tubing, hence needing the piece that prevents the milk getting to and ruining your pump. Easy to clean the tubing. Hot soapy water then run a small amount of rubbing alcohol through.Had to be pump only for a couple months, this made all the difference. No more award stops at lights while in the car!!

How can I express my gratitude and affection for such small pieces of plastic? I will try! These are such tiny parts and it's all too easy to lose the originals. Forever grateful to Maymom for making replacement parts. Keeping one in every place I pump (the office, car, pump bag) has saved me so many times. Before this, in an emergency I would have to use tape in place of the missing part for a very inferior suction! These make that unnecessary. Since I seem to forget at least one thing every day, it's important to have backups. These are perfect. Indistinguishable from the originals. I am so grateful. 💖

Absolute necessity to attach Spectra to Freemie cups. The freemie cups allowed me to exclusively pump for a year, and with a new baby and a new pump, I had to find a conversion kit. So the necessary piece is the back flow protector. The end is a different shape and I used the short tubing to directly attach from the back flow to the freemie cups. I have the old version, not the closed system. The short tubing allowed for strong suction.

Love the original freemie cups and needed a conversion kit so they work with my Spectra S1. This kit is great. Works well with both the S1 and the Freemie cups.

I don't use it for the freemies because the freemies do not have a lot of suction but I use this for my bella baby pump. Since I also have the original spectra ones I am able to cycle them out with these. With a minor tubing hack where I cut a little of the small tube and put it in the bella baby tubing, they work great with the bella baby pump.

Works great with my Medela Freestyle! I’m so happy I can use the Freemie cups now - so much more convenient pumping at work!I used the Medela tubing to connect to the back flow protectors. Haven’t had any issue with milk or condensation crossing the backflow barriers toward my pump! Easy instructions to follow - don’t let it the extra tubing overwhelm you.

These adaptor kits are perfect for my spectra S2 breast pump. The included components are high quality and fit with the freebie cups seamlessly to create a great hands-free, discrete, and highly productive pumping experience. Definitely recommend if: you are wanting to pump high volumes within 10 minutes; you want to use your own bra to pump hands-free; you don’t want to have to hide away to pump discretely as this works excellent right under your shirt.

I purchased this to fit with my freemie cups and Cmbear travel pump. I would rate then a 5 except the hoses come detached easily. I've tried cutting them as suggested, but it doesn't help.Other then that, they work fine

Product came with mismatched backflow preventers- one that fits the Maymom tubing and one that fits the original Spectra flange. For Spectra S1: When used with original tubing plus the long Maymom tubing, there is no suction (pump loses more power the longer the tubing is). You need to use the short tubing between the Freemie cup and the backflow preventer, the Spectra tubing between the backflow preventer and the pump. I did this, turned the pump on, and (ouch, unpleasant surprise) suction was restored.

You basically just need the backflow protector and the original pump tube and the freemies to make it work. No need for the small tubing or other tubes. Regardless giving this a 4 Star since it’s good to have back up parts.

Thank goodness for these connectors! Great quality, came on time, and save my pumping life every day! :) I previously did not have the correct connection parts & tried to make due with re-taping the parts together every time I went to pump and it was a disaster to say the least! I have freemie cups that go along with my Spectra pump. However I wanted to be able to use my freemie cups along with my Medela Pump. This product allowed me to just do that. So I can still have hands-free pumping sessions in the morning before going to work.
