High quality, heavy duty stable
Super nice tripod five out of five if you’re looking for a lightweight travel tripod this wouldn’t be the one but for set positions and heavy rigs it’s awesome!! This is a perfect strong, stable and effective tripod. Thank you.

Sturdy
I'm very pleased with this tripod. It's a little heavy, so it makes fieldwork a little challenging. But it holds my huge rig very easily.

Excellent Product
Wow, this video tripod is excellent! Stable, heavy duty, and brand new. I love the height this video tripod extends to, no more boxes to stand on!

Not the quality I hoped for
I’m going to be honest here. I bought this as a second tripod for doing two camera interviews. My normal tripod is a Manfroto, so I’m not like a number of people here who are writing reviews coming from a low cost tripod. I’m giving it 4 stars because, what did I expect for $110? But I’m not sure how well this will hold up over time? I have bought a number of things from Neewer and I have always been pleasantly surprised at the quality I was getting for the price. This is what I should have expected for the price. I’ll use it, but I have a hunch it won’t last the year.

The Best Tripod I Have Ever Owned
This is a high quality tripod that I can trust my expensive camera on. It has very sturdy legs and they adjust to any needed height.

Finally a great and reliable tripod!
A content creator and phone video-maker here. Before I used plastic tripods for $30-$50 which either ended up breaking or having weak joints leaning on the side. Yesterday I got this one and couldn’t be happier! It’s heavy, tough and stable. If you don’t need to carry it around a lot, it’s a great investment. It’s definitely a bit overkill if you use it just for phone, but honestly, I would rather deal with that, than wasting money on cheap tripods every 6 months. On the photos you can see it compared to my previous Onn tripod.

My First Real Camera Tripod
My first real video tripod! I feel all grown up!Each year we do two classes featuring the yoga teacher trainees teaching round robin (~5 minute segment each), videotaping the class so they can watch themselves teach. We've historically retained a videographer, and I end up in the room working with the trainees on assisting. We've been having trouble finding videographers - last year's guy showed up without a tripod and ended up following the trainees around the room (good for social media, marketing, or art, but not what we want / need). Not really his fault; it's hard to communicate that we really don't want / need your A game, and a lot of the new / young / hip videographers don't really have the tools or equipment to put a camera on sticks and shoot an event. So this year I realized that I had (a) a perfectly adequate camcorder (woefully under-used, purchased during the pandemic as I worked to figure out livestreaming) and (b) a shotgun microphone (another pandemic purchase). I tried a cheapo tripod I had kicking around but way too noisy. So with the new tripod, a 128G memory card, and a mounting bracket to put both the camera and mic on the tripod, I'm good to go. Test run last week; the new tripod is super solid, pans / tilts with no noise, the mounting bracket does it's job, and the shotgun mic captures the instructor very well (I added headphones, also kicking around). I just need to work on my camera chops - simple zooming and panning as the instructor walks around the room. It won't be high art but it will be exactly what we need....So this year, I graduate to camera op and somebody else can play yogi wrangler.....

Good Video Sticks!
Great value. I’ve used it with my Blackmagic 6K Pro on multiple shoots traveling to multiple locations and has not shown much wear, especially due to the padded carrying case. It’s a little heavy, but I appreciate it. Love the height it gets up to, love the easy paddle style quick release leg adjustments.
