Hurray!! Great for scaly swollen eyes/ contact dermatitis!
This is a wonderful product. It is a part of my three prong plan to keep my eyelids looking normal. When I use certain products or touch certain items and then touch my eyes, I have trouble with my eyelids turning into unwanted, crypt keeper, dry, pink, swollen, scaly catastrophes. ACCK! It's really scary looking. I believe it is called contact dermatitis and it is not a pretty sight! If you're looking for a game plan try this one of mine. It does work: First, I use a daily five minute warm wet compress on my eyes. Second, I sprits this product on morning and night on clean dry eyes to prevent unwanted crypt keeper eyes. Be sure to pat your eyes dry before applying or you may experience stinging. Third, I do my best to avoid my triggers- dust, petting cats then touching my eyes, several eye creams, false eye lash glue, oil based eye makeup removers, certain fragrances etc. It’s a daily battle, but this product really does help stop the reaction. I am glad I found it. I am diligent to keep it on hand. I don’t want to be without it. I wish it was a little less expensive. Once I realized I would need to keep using it on a regular basis, I started buying the big bottle to save a few (about 10) dollars. UPDATE: Note after using this product successfully for about a year: I recently got brave enough to try some new products. If you've ever suffered with this condition, you know how scary it can be to try something new on your eyes. And if you are like me, you are horrified you'll have a bad reaction right? Well, I got educated about our natural moisture barrier for our skin. (See Dr. Stacey Shillington on Youtube) I learned that soaps that foam deteriorate the barrier and open you up to problems like contact dermatitis and acne. Of course foaming soap is what I have used for years. So I slowly switched over and started using Organic Jojoba oil on my face. There are great videos on oil cleansing on youtube. Check them out for more info. At first, I wouldn't dare put it on my eyelids. But after about 6 weeks, I saw my skin on my face improve drastically and so I started testing the oil on the corners of my lids. No reaction!! :D I then moved on to using it on my eyes daily. Within a month I saw a difference. My lids felt softer, moister, less itchy. So I started using an eyelid primer and then eyeshadows with no reaction!! I believe the Jojoba oil is repairing my lids!! and keeping them from reacting. Now let me say CLEARLY--that I still avoid my other triggers and use the warm compresses and lid and lash cleanser daily, but I am thrilled to be back in eye makeup. If you want a list of what I am using on my eyes in addition to the spray and warm compresses here it is: 1. Cliganic or Levan Rose Jojoba oil (both sold on Amazon) 2. Too Faced Shadow Insurance (eyelid primer) 3. CeraVe Eye Repair Cream (to moisturize under eyes and on the sides of my eyes only--not on lids) 4. Tarte Eyeshadow in flirt palette 5. Blinc Mascara (creates mascara tubes not paint) Hope this helps. Everyone is different so these products might not work for you, but if they do--I am glad I could help! Wish I knew about the oils for improving my moisture barrier sooner! I should also emphasize that I used just the spray and compresses until my eyelids looked completely normal and then I slowly added these other products one at a time so I would know if any were a problem. Best to you in your quest for beautiful lids! :) Jan 2020 update: I had my first break out on my eyes (left eye) this month. It’s been almost 2 years since I had any problems using the plan listed above.. I want to say that I had let up on my wet warm compresses and spray. I was still using them, just not every single day. Then I caught a nasty cold two weeks ago and I think with my immune system was down Thats when the wretched small red scaly spot popped up on my left eye. I immediately went back to daily warm compresses and using the spray More diligently and backed off all my eye makeup products and oils except for my mascara. I applied a tiny amount of Cortizone 10 to the spot and it cleared up within about four days. I don’t recommend daily use of Cortizone because I hear you can go blind from over use on eyelids.. So if you do use it only use a tiny amount for a very short period of time—less than a week. About a week later someone brought me a bouquet of beautiful Roses and pink stargazer lilies, which I put in my bedroom with me and shut the door. I woke up the next morning with crypt keeper swollen pink eyes!! Ack trigger alert! I’m sharing this update with you so that you know if you start coming down with a virus you should probably be stricter with your a three prong plan to prevent any problems. And to let you know that things like flowers can be a trigger. For me it was the stargazer lilies. You might think twice before you shut yourself in a room with them all night. Well hope that helps.

Works Great
This product is a bit pricey, but it’s worth every penny to me. It’s the best I’ve used when my eyelids get inflamed and itchy. It’s easy to use and provides almost immediate relief. I don’t use it frequently, so even though it’s a small bottle, it lasts me a long time.

This works very well
This helps my eye health and is not too strong for my sensitive eyes. I really like it & it gets the red out of my inner eyelids.

This stuff is the real deal - 100% recommend!!!
I have had red, sore, dry eyes for years - went to an eye MD every 3 months for several years, but nothing they did helped (I left after she had a colleague see me and suggest I have surgery on the outer corners of my eyes to create a smaller square surface area). I used Rx Restasis for all that time without relief, and Rx steroid eye drops intermittently. I can't even list The OTC eye products I had to use to try to live a normal life ... The eye MD said I had blepharitis and told me to do lid scrubs with baby shampoo - this did nothing. Not once did anyone check for demodex mites. Fast forward 17 years and I was still suffering. I began researching blepharitis recently and learned about lash mites (both kinds of the dirty buggars) ... eventually I bought this product after agonizing over the cost (I bought cheaper products with okay results, but the tree oil face washes and creams burned my eyes even worse). After one day of use of Heyedrate Lid and Lash Cleanser the relief was almost immediate - this made me realize that I would have paid double the cost had I known. Today is day #3: My eyes aren't red for the first time in 25 years. And I don't have the itching, burning soreness in or around my eyes any more. Hopefully in a couple of months I may get some moisture back (but Rome wasn't built in a day). I'm now a groupie/fan of Heydrate and will buy it again. Great stuff, very mild! Thanks Heydrate! EDIT: 6/19/23 It still works great! It relieved a nasty eye flare I developed: eyes so sore, itchy, burning, red and swollen I could barely see. For some reason I forgot to keep up the eye lid/lash treatments and things went sideays. I tried everything in my arsenal and nothing calmed it down (I looked like I had been crying for days and had gone several rounds in the ring with Mike Tyson in his prime). Finally I remembered I had this product - everything is calmed down 36 hrs later after beginning use (due to how long it took that should tell you how severe the problem was). I'll never forget to use this at least daily from now on. I learned an important lesson.

So I was pretty sceptical but getting desperate as I’d developed a massive stye that was blocking my vision and hurt really badly. Nothing I’d been told to try worked. So I bought this, sprayed it on the moment it arrived and then an hour later wiped it on with a cotton pad and 20 mins after that the pain was barely there! By next morning the swelling had come down about 70%! I don’t know how good it will be for king term prevention as I commonly get eyelash infections but so far I am very impressed and very glad I bought it! Also my eyes are weirdly not as dry?

Got rid of my itchy eyes. Gentle on the skin. Had a couple of sties coming up at base of lashes when I bought it. After using twice a day for 2 weeks the sties had dried up and I just rubbed them off. Brilliant! Went to order again but Amazon are not selling it anymore. So the search begins again for a spray that contains 0.015% hypochlorous acid. Hopefully it will be easier to find now.

The only reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5 is the price! When I bought it, I got it for £9 with a voucher. For reference: I have dry eyes, blepharitis, and can have blocked tear ducts/glands. I used to be fine only using heated eye packs once in a while and using baby shampoo to wash the eyelashes. But that stopped being effective. This spray genuinely lead to some comfort from the first use, and after a week of applying it 2-4 times per day to get started, I know I am going to repurchase. I use it plus a tea tree oil cleansing bar and have found that a great combination. The customer care and feedback from the company was phenomenal. Those guys really know about eye care! Thanks!

I never write reviews, but I had a stye and ordered this for next day delivery (yesterday). Put it on when I got it and had some relief. Had a full day, and when I got home put some more on. Work up this morning and the seed had worked its way out!! Barely touched it and blammo, no more stye! Put some more on just to kill any lingering infection and help with the redness. I have had sytes before but nothing has ever worked this quickly or effectively. One day!!!!!!
