No more guessing what gas is in the can!
These are perfect to indicate what gas is in what can! I struggle with remembering if I mixed oil in the can or not. When I had different oil/gas ratios machines, these would have been even handier! So glad I have these to help remind me!

This is a great product. Simple yet effective and does serve it's purpose nicely. The craftsmanship is also decent. The one thing that would have made this a nicer product would have been if the raised letters and digits were highlighted/painted with a different color. Such as either white or black so that the letters can be read more easily. There is no contrast and this can make it a little tougher to view especially in less well lit areas.I actually took a black fine point sharpie and outlined the main mix I was going to be using this on and can now view the mix at a quick glance without having to move the tag around to find that perfect light.Aside from this, the product is genius. If this company ever releases a new version with the letters outlined in a different color please do let me know. Thanks again.

It's the little things...
Sure, you can write on your can. Now use it heavily a few years. What's what? These are one of those little things that take your use of something to the next level. I love them, and everyone who sees them thinks they are awesome. Would absolutely purchase again.

Good concept, needs a little refinement
I like the concept... it's a gas can tag that helps remind you whether it's raw gas or a 2 cycle mix. It's easy to adjust to signify raw gas or one of the common mix ratios. The letters/numbers are just a little hard to read. They are small and the same color (red) as the tag itself.I used a silver sharpie to make them more visible. It took a steady hand and a fine point.

Avoid “Straight-Gassing” your Snow Blower
Excellent value; set of 3 “DOG TAGS” for gasoline_ID. Anyone who is military, understands what a great idea this is. Each plastic (no rust) dog tag comes with a beaded chain to affix to any gas can. Slide switch has 4 positions; straight-gas, 50:1 premix (line trimmer & leaf blower), 40:1 premix (trail riding), 32:1 premix (motocross riding and pre-1976 snow blowers). Now i can legally take my YELLOW (diesel) Justrite 2-gallon Type-2 gas can to either my local Shell or Mobil station for Top-Tier gas, loaded with 4.1 ounces of pre-measured Stihl 2-cycle oil, then partially fill it, shake, then finish fill it with 1.6 gallons of 87-octane gasoline (91 RON). I only load my fuel cans to 80% rating, for expansion and slosh headroom. No hassles with station attendants, because the can (any color) is properly marked, OSHA compliant, and legal. No spills. No stinky fuel vapors in my trunk. Easy for me to store at home, and identify which can (YELLOW) has the premix, among all my RED straight-gas generator metal Type-1 and Type-2 gas cans out in the garage. Never again will I have Papa or Nephew “straight-gas” my coveted lightweight 2-cycle TORO snow blower. I’ll never have to rebuild the powerful 6.5 hp R-TEK engine again, because someone scuffed the piston due to a mis-fuel event. Buy this “Dog Tag” kit with confidence!

Perfect
Just what I was looking for to make sure I had put oil in my gas. Sometimes it's hard to keep track of several cans, at home and at the lake.
