ADD-A-Circuit Micro3 ATL Fuse-TAP Add ON Dual Circuit Adapter AUTO CAR Terminal + 5 AMP Fuse Tap

These are not available at any of my 14 local auto parts stores. Got this one and the pass through slot was very loose for some reason, it just seemed like the fuse dropped in, and didn’t touch the terminals inside. This came with a 5amp fuse and I used a 15 amp ignition powered circuit, the slot inline with the wire is the accessory your adding and the slot closest to the prongs is your existing fuse, those plugged in securely and works well. Used to add a auto dimming mirror with garage remote on the mirror.

The prongs are too thin so it doesn’t have great connection. Oh and they charged twice for it. So that was very sweet of them….

The plastic portion of this fuse does not conform to the micro3 standard. You can actually see it in the picture, but I learned the hard way. Compare the picture of the fuse to the picture of the black plastic that is supposed to take the place of a fuse.The two ends are supposed to be narrow, but this product has an extra fin that sticks out so the housing is wide on the very ends. This will not fit in most vehicle fuse boxes. Other reviewers mention filing that part off. I might try to use a razor blade if I can't find a replacement product.Update: I included a couple of photos, one of the connector next to a fuse, which shows the extra plastic fins that shouldn't be there, and another photo where I trimmed off the fins with a box cutter. It was actually pretty easy to trim off the fins, so I recommend this approach if you can't find another one without the fins. Once they were trimmed off, I was able to get this into my vehicle's fuse box pretty easily.

I bought a dash cam. It uses the regular fuses to plug in. My 2018 Ford Explorer uses the smaller (Micro 3) fuses. I needed a way to convert my power source to Micro 3. This is it! Arrived in a few short days and installed easily. Could not be happier. Just upset that I didn't think of this first. Genius. Take my money...

Added an easy to access circuit to signal my light bar relay. Lights are now activated with the high beam switch with no load on the high beam circuit.

The plastic housing is too thick to fit in a Ford fuse box (no idea about others). Has to sand down the plastic to allow it to slide in. Also had to put a taper on the metal prongs similar to the fuses to allow it to fit properly in the fuse box. Once all this was done - it is ok.

I needed to grind down the sides of the "Stick-In" part in order to get it to fit.

I ordered two of these. One is missing a pin, and when I tried the second one, it wouldn’t fit. The plastic housing is too big to fit into the fuse slot.
