EXCELLENT VIOLENT THRILLER
This is a totally satisfying two hour thriller and the best from Guy Ritchie I've seen. Actually, I'm not a big fan of GR, simply because I find some of his films over rated, but this one is bang on target. Jason Statham (the most charismatic hard man actor of his time) plays H, a mysterious recruit to a security team that has been hit by murderous armed robbers. But, as flashbacks to the story reveal, his motivations are far from earning an average wage. Jason is mean, moody and magnificent as always, and the action is superb. This movie actually looks more 1970's than present day, simply because the violence is not over the top and the actors look like real actors, not the pretty boys you often see nowadays. If I have one criticism of the movie it is that the relationship between Jason and his son is not fully developed. A few more scenes together would have had more involving impact when the plot unfolds. I'm giving this five stars for Richie, Statham, a fine cast and a totally satisfying violent thriller. Well worth a look.

Exciting above action ganster thriller
So, when I buy films from Amazon I always wait until they're about £5-6, which I didi in this case. And week after I watched it Film 4 screened it free in the UK. That said it is another of Guy Ritchie's recent run of action / thriller. It is great to see GR moving away from his 'mockney' films. This is a well plotted thriller with a great supporting cast and the 'Stath' doing his stuff, more menecing revenge than kung fuy this time. An exciting actioner that is well worth the watch.

Good Plot, slow burn......story unravels on revenge motive. One of Guy Ritchie's best ! Disc was excellent, Atmos track is engaging and dynamic.

Bonjour, Cde arrivée en 3 jours : mardi 17 juin 2025 contenant et contenu RAS ! Le DVD correspond bien à mon attente et conforme à l'esprit de ma DV-Thèque ! Sauf que ce DVD est une version Anglaise, c'est de ma faute... j'ai du mal lire ! Daniel BINTHER
