I used these for my kids in my class after we finished a unit on insects. One bag is enough for a class. Most of my class got 2 or 3 each. They loved them.

They arrived whole and not crushed and some reviews had me worried. There were several sizes so it was perfect for everyone to choose their own for our chocolate covered insect station.

I got these for Sunday school as a gag for the kids. John the baptist eating bugs in the wilderness. They loved them and shared them with their parents and grandparents.

My husband loves unique snacks and he enjoyed these. It's a smaller bag so it was easy to finish in a sitting for him. They're crunchy and tastes like crispy bits of a chip. They can be messy when taking out of the bag, we had some legs falling on tshirt when taking them out initially.The biggest plus was the crispy made it easy to try something new. If you closed your eyes and ate one, you wouldn't notice it being a bug you're eating, just a crunchy snack.

The significant other, a vegan, wouldn’t even consider tasting this snack food. I will admit that I was hesitant, but for different reasons. My nephew was over, and we were discussing how the future might have insects as normal, casual fare for snacks and meals. Yes, they are supposedly high in protein. But, there are some mental obstacles to overcome to consider these as replacements for m&m’s. My nephew bravely took a few and tossed them in his mouth, and chewed it up (while I laughed). He said they taste pretty good.Did I eat any? Well, to be perfectly honest, I chickened out. haha. Maybe if they coated it in chocolate, it would be more palatable to the senses.There is no Nutritional Facts listed on the product, which I found disappointing.At $20 for 15 grams, this seems rather pricey. If this is the food of the future, it seems like it's going to be an expensive endeavor.Based on my nephews assessment, this product does match the statements in the product details. We thought we were ordering crickets. My son was so excited to try these. We got a bag full of what looked like saw dust. We wanted whole crickets. From what we saw of descriptions and reviews they were whole. Very disappointed.
